Welcome!
editHello, Mpark92, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Welcome
editHi, for the time being, please ignore (don't edit) the articles in the various cleanup categories (especially copy editing) as there is a large scale sock problem going on right now. Feel free to edit anything else; just not Category:All articles needing copy edit. Sorry this is a little abrupt. It's just that WP is a target most of the time and right now it's a little over active. Dawnseeker2000 02:21, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- I have spoken with Dawnseeker2000 offline, and I am now under the belief there is no issue with sockpuppetry. Even if there is an issue, you should feel free to make improvements anywhere you'd like. Copy-editing is a great way to get started, so please, keep it up :) Sorry for the confusion! — MusikAnimal talk 19:16, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
There is no reason for this new editor to be confused. I think they understand that I asked that they steer clear of the articles that are tagged for copy editing. I stated that there are other areas to work on and that there's just too many new and inexperienced editors and vandals that are targeting those articles. Dawnseeker2000 20:01, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Maze Shooter
editHi! I wanted to caution you about creating an article for a game you created. While there's no hard set rule that says you can't edit about something you've done, it tends to be discouraged out of concerns of neutrality and, sometimes, notability.
I'm concerned that this game hasn't gained the type of coverage that it would need to pass notability guidelines on Wikipedia. To pass notability guidelines you'd have to show where the game has received coverage in independent, reliable sources like newspapers, gaming websites like IGN, and the type. Primary sources wouldn't be able to show notability, although they can back up basic details. It sounds like a cool game, I'm just worried that it isn't really ready to be on Wikipedia yet.
