2007 America's Cup
editThe results of the Louis Vuitton Cup should be in the Louis Vuitton Cup article. Do you agree? Boatman 07:54, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
The new Louis Vuitton Cup 2007 article looks good. Thanks for considering my suggestion. Boatman 10:48, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Chelsea's new kit
editWell, commenting on a kit which hasn't even been released yet is what I would call speculative, especially when by accompanied by phrases such as "appears to have...". As for being a news service, updates on every change to the club's kit, such as press releases and 'teasers' are not necessary, imo. Regards. SteveO 08:10, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
LA Galaxy
edit1. "as far as i'm concerned" isn't a good enough reason. The LA Galaxy, at least for the next 2 days still have, on their official site, the gold and green kit as their official kit. It will remain so until the new kit is OFFICIALLY unveiled by the team on the 13th. 2. Beckham is NOT listed on the official team site as wearing #23. Until it is listed on the site, and we see him on the 13th holding up a jersey with a number on it, anything else is original research.
If you don't want an edit war, then don't change anything from what is official at this time to something that COULD take place in two days time. It won't kill you to wait until official announcements are made from the team. I don't care what "shopadidas" shows on their website, the NFL.com website had Reggie Bush #5 jerseys on sale the day he was drafted...now he wears #25. When it's posted on the LA Galaxy website, then it's official. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Care to take a gander over at global cooling?
editI've got a frustrating situation over at global cooling where the global warming crowd are denying that there's anybody currently holding that we're in the lead in for a bout of global cooling. Whether we are or not is beyond me but it's rather obvious from even a cursory google search that some people do believe it so. They don't want to talk about it. They don't want to give any reason for challenging. It's the same old run around of asking for sources for everything including where the sun rises and challenging the sourcing until one gives up. Global Cooling is interesting because it's not structured as entirely a science article but rather a combination science and popular press article. They're denying that the popular press has any articles on it. TMLutas (talk) 01:15, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
