Vietnam Service Medal

I changed one thing on your latest edits. The Manual of Style says that headers only capitalize the first word of a section header unless a proper noun is in the header, in which case it is capitalized. Otherwise, your edits have cleaned up my original table and you have included information that wasn't originally in the article. Good job; keep up the good work. Re: your reversion of my date edit reversion. It is not my intent to edit war on this...please see the top line of markup code where it says "Use dmy dates|date=January 2013" You have helped on this article before and that is appreciated, however your edits provide an inconsistency in the display of dates. Most articles associated with the Milhist Project use dmy formatting, including this one. We need to resolve this. Cuprum17 (talk) 21:45, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Reversions

I have reverted your reversion at Charles Bronson and will soon revert your reversion at Purple Heart. There is no cited source to prove Bronson received a Purple Heart or any other military award. I chose my words carefully; I specified using a 'reliable source'. I don't think Military.com is a reliable source. I would guess that website is parroting promotional materials. It is entirely possible that Bronson did earn a Purple Heart in WWII but we have a responsibility to accurately source that information. Chris Troutman (talk) 04:17, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi Mphsmeister,

I didn't change oftentimes because the spelling is incorrect, but because the wikipedia style guide suggests it's a dialectal word. See Wikipedia:Use_modern_language#Examples_of_the_obsolete.
