I see you've added some interesting quotes to the article. Would you mind adding an in-line ref or other type of citation as to where you got these from? Thanks for your efforts on the article. They are much apprecited. Wjhonson 23:31, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- You put quotes around some things, but you did not specify from where they are quoted. That is to what I'm referring. Since Krishnamurti did not disband the Order until he was 35 I think the Theosophy box is appropriate. He was the central figure in that movement for about 20 years. Whether he later disavowed it isn't relevant to whether he at one time was the major figure in it. Wjhonson 17:08, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sure that's your opinion, that he was never a Theosophist. However I think most people would agree with the statement that you don't have to 35 to disavow a movement. He was the central figure until he was 35, and for some Theosophists even after that time. Thirty-five is not the same as 18 or 22 or 26. He was "mature" for quite a long time before he disavowed his expected position. Wjhonson 17:49, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- As long as we agree that there is room for all issues to be addressed. The article does not need to be one page or two pages or ten pages long. It needs to be however long it takes to address all the issues. The fact that there is a lot about his early life is only representative of the fact that I happen to have a book *on* his early life. If you happen to have a book on his middle life, please add details. Wjhonson 18:27, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input to the article by the way. It's always useful to work with another editor who cites their sources. Like I mentioned, I have the book on his early life, and over the many months I've been working on the article, various questions have come up and so I've cited various bits to cover the issues. I myself mentioned on the Talk page that his middle life is a complete blank. What was he doing in the 1940s? 1950s? 1960s? If you have that book on his middle life maybe you could fill in that section. If you think the article is *already* too long, maybe we could Fork another article just to cover his life or just to cover his philosophy or whatever. I wouldn't want to reduce the amount of information we have but maybe the article is big enough to fork it? Wjhonson 20:39, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry to hear that you're unwilling to work on the article as long as the Theosophy template remains. I think you'll have a hard uphill battle getting consensus on removing it. Krishnamurti is perhaps the second-most-well-known figure in Theosophy, next to Blavatsky herself. And Theosophy was his life from the ages of 14 to 35 at least. If not later as well. So far I've seen no citations on that part by the way, so it's going to be hard to convince others of it without those. Wjhonson 22:36, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

editI'm not looking to get into an arguement here, but you need to be fairly and officially warned. Wikipedia has a code of conduct. You need to be civil, and not resort to name-calling, or you will be prevented from contributing. see WP:Etiquette and WP:Civility VanTucky 16:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
