Provisional Government of DFY was the government of Democratic Federal Yugoslavia formed out of members of National Committee for Liberation of Yugoslavia(NKOJ) and members of the Royal Government-in-Exile.Government was formed on 7 March 1945 and lasted until 11. November 1945. President of the provisional government was Josip Broz Tito,leader of Yugoslav Partisans and the General Secretary of Communist Party of Yugoslavia.

  • Dragiša Cvetković - Former Prime Minister. Sentenced September 15, 1945 as an enemy of the state and war criminal.[24]


  • Petar Cule - Bishop of Mostar. Sentenced in 1948.

The Temporary Government of the Democratic Federal Yugoslavia was that state's temporary national government formed through the merger of the Yugoslav government-in-exile and the National Committee for the Liberation of Yugoslavia. It existed from March 7 to November 11, 1945.

King Peter II established a Regency Council made up of Srđan Budisavljević, Ante Mandić and Dušan Sernec who were tasked with accepting the nomination of the government.
