- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 16:12, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

Eastern Europe and the Balkans sanctions alert
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

editThis account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 07:17, 16 August 2022 (UTC) |

Unblock request
editMrboondocks (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Hi I was recently blocked by a editor, who premtively assumed I am a sock, without having a proper discussion with me. in fact i added my edits with credible sources. please review this block thanks Mrboondocks (talk) 07:25, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
"IP checks" are usually not done to prove innocence, because they don't, but that's up to a checkuser. This request boils down to "I'm not a sock" which every sock says. You'll have to do better- agreeing to abandon editing about Eastern European issues may help. 331dot (talk) 07:51, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Why would an admin discuss anything with a sockpuppet of a persona non grata whose modus operandi makes any such discussion a waste of time and effort? —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 07:28, 16 August 2022 (UTC) I cannot directly reply directly to you, i am replying here. How come my modus operandi makes such discussion waste of time ? I infact added a credible edit in talk sections. Also such blocks discourages new users to come and edit at wiki, Every editor is new at some point. Regardless where I edited I did infact supported by arguments with credible sources. And how you assumed I am a sock pupet of anyone else ? you can check my IP or something to verify it cant you Mrboondocks (talk) 07:41, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

- You deliberately produced an edit into the topic area globally banned user was involved in to make a point or to prompt someone to file SPI that would most likely show no relation to the banned user (proxy use). You are ether Icewhiz, Miacek or one of other Icewhiz's associates. Obvious sock puppet, not a new user. - GizzyCatBella🍁 08:13, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
- you have any proof of that apart from your assumptions ? you are making an accusation you should provide proof Mrboondocks (talk) 09:00, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

- So wiki admins relies on duck test and flag new editors as socks, never new this policy. Mrboondocks (talk) 03:08, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
