Yes, I agree that the number of subscribers would be information that should be included in the article. The problem is adequately sourcing it. By wikipedia's sourcing guidelines, we need an independent source to make this claim. The problem with this source is that it isn't independent. We can't trust companies not to inflate their own numbers (this isn't to say that we distrust them; just that these are our standards). Basically, these sources fall under the guideline WP:SELFPUB. We can use them if they aren't unduly self-serving, but this one might be. This is why comparable sources are found elsewhere in the article (however, there might be other problems there that I haven't seen).

Anyways, I thank you for your contributions here, and hopefully you'll be able to put your experience to good use with trying to improve this article. It's just important that you understand our sourcing requirements, and you also might want to familiarize yourself with our conflict of interest guidelines - they don't prohibit you from editing, but they recommend you should exercise caution. --Infophile (Talk) (Contribs) 20:17, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
