Macedonian National Football team
editFirst of all many of you are erasing a lot of information not me. Also many of you are making up some rubbish reasons not to publish a lot of information . But in this case its very simple 6-1 is bigger defeat than 5-0 . So why are you adding 3 more meaningless 5-0 scores ? And for example why you are adding 3 more meaningless defeats ,why don't you add 3 more Victories ? Its ridiculous .
- @Starbakgalaktika: *facepalm* Because 6-1 is not bigger defeat than 5-0, thats just you talking rubbish. They are both 5 goals difference and *by wikipedia rules* they are *ALL to be listed*. Whether you and your ridiculous logic agree with it or not is irrelevant. You can check any other national team wikipedia page and the regulations for football profiles. And I cant add 3 more victories because there is only one with 10 goals difference, very simple duh.
- @MR 5 numbers: That means that you dont have any knowledge of the Football Game. And those editors on Wikipedia either . 6-1 is bigger defeat because 6 goals are more then 5 .Simple math can tell you that. And 6-1 is bigger Victory so the team that wins 6-1 goes to another round if it has same points with the team that won 5-0 .Little 7 year old kid that just learned math can tell you that 6 is bigger then 5. You absolutely dont have sense for logic. Biggest defeat the word says it ! One defeat not 4 or 2 or 10 . There is no such thing as rule for biggest defeat to be 4 or 5 or 10 defeats . Again 0 logic ! Rethink and pull your self together ,and dont bother to write rubbish ( as you say) on insignificant football team page. Also explain why are you doing this anyways ? Whats your point ? what are you trying to accomplish ?
- @Starbakgalaktika: Bog da cuva, poretardirano nesto nemam procitano. Aj be idi setaj, stvarno nemam namera da se zamaram so glupostive sto gi tropas. *facepalm*.

Question
editZdravo. Just one question, why are you closing the years for several Macedonian U-21 players such as Stefan Spirovski, Nikola Jakimovski, Predrag Ranđelović (born 1990) and others? Many of them just played a couple of days ago, as you certainly know as you added those games in the updates you made. They are still active in that national team level, and they can play for U-21 until the end of the year, so while still active they should have the years display open. I will wait for your answer and I will not revert your changes by now, but you need to let me know the reasons behind this edits of yours. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 21:52, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
- So you are sure they want play any more this year (even in friendlies)? OK, I understand the logic, even if they play friendlies they will most certainly call the players they will be counting in the next qualifiers, so makes sense. Everything is OK then. Many thanks for letting me know, and I appreciate a lot the work you have been doing around Macedonian football, it´s great to have editors like you as there are not many updating Macedonian football. Thanks once more, and whenever you need any help let me know. :) Поздрав! FkpCascais (talk) 22:06, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
Markovski
editAre you sure about this edit? It is because I have been searching around and sems that the match was counted as A match... The teams were formed in November 2012, one went to Liechtenstein to a friendly there on day 11, and another went to Iran to play in a tournament on day 12.
However, MFF lists Markovski as international, EU-Football.info, which is a most complete site for European national teams list him as having played an 1 A match, meaning, considers the match in Iran as A international.
I was reading some news reports from back then, such as this one, and by reading the conversation and reports on this forum I get the impression that because of national team coeficient, seems that both matches (in Liechetenstein and in Iran) were considered A appearances. FkpCascais (talk) 03:17, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
- I found this interesting report from UEFA official website as well. FkpCascais (talk) 03:20, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I see FIFA doesn´t list the match in their website, so, that´s it. Many thanks. FkpCascais (talk) 19:30, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
From what I know, both are considered to be official. There is no such thing as 'A' or 'B' Teams, it is still the Macedonian team, just how when we play weaker teams, we add younger and less experienced players to the squad, while giving the veterans off games. If you really want Markoski to be without a cap then I ll leave it as that, but also change it in the All time list of footballers for Bojan Markoski. As for the numbers of the players, they are correct as of the most recent match played, and most recent number they had all worn. I kept Markoski, and Stjepanovic without numbers because those are the only two that could either be 15 or 23. Stefan Ristovski might also give up 13 to either of the two, and Dragan Gjorgiev's number of 20 isnt for sure. But all the rest are a given. FC Minsk
editHello.
Regarding your comments for FC Minsk page. The points you have mentioned are just your personal opinion, not a wikipedia guideline. If you can direct me to the discussion on that subject where consensus was reached, please do. Otherwise, I'm gonna continue keeping the squads the way I do.
1. Redlinked players are the ones that already were on the first team bench last year and most probably will debut as soon as next season starts. One of them has already played for first team in Europa League so I will create his profile as soon as I have time.
2. Regarding the players with no numbers. They are, for the most part, new signings. I keep them in chronological order of joining the team to see easier if he was already added or not.
Thank you for your time. -BlameRuiner (talk) 11:43, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
1. Who cares if they were on the bench last year and if they are probably going to debut soon and if you are planning to create a profile in the future. As long as they dont have a profile right now, it is absolutely silly and pointless to link their names to an unexisting i.e. empty profile page. Why do they must be linked now, when they DO NOT have any profiles?
Vlazrimi and Kožuf in Vtora Liga
editIs it true that in the new season of Second Macedonian League competes Vlazrimi and Kožuf instead Vrapčiste and Miravci. If this is true then the modify on this pages of Second and Third League. Jolicnikola (talk) 13:21, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
Macedonian Transliteration
editHi. What I meant when I stated that Wikipedia transliterates using š, č, etc. is that a consensus is needed in order to change how we transliterate Macedonian names. Also, your piping of the links to the players' articles (i.e. [[Tome Pačkovski|Tome Pachkovski]]) makes those links inconsistent with the article title. I won't revert your edit because it's not a huge deal but I think you ought to consider reverting yourself for these reasons. Regards. --Local hero talk 17:32, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
Okay, thats a fair comment. Id leave it like this for now but if other users also correct it and switch it to the "old system" Ill leave it like that. However, I still think even in that case many names would need corrections (as Shkendija, who in that case would need to be Škendija, as otherweise it would still stand out and wont match to the system). Hence, there are many players whose names are spelled wrong (as Markoski, whose profile name is Markovski, or Gjorgiev whose profile name is Georgiev), so in certain cases I think it is still neccessery to have links incosistent with the article title. --Msb73505 (talk) 21:35, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Albania national under-21 football team. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. In future please take all disagreements to the talk page or ANI if you cannot resolve them and they get out of hand. It is obvious that the other editor's behaviour is tantamount to harassment which is in some respects mitigating but any future edit warring may very well lead to you being blocked. Fenix down (talk) 22:29, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- The reason why I was doing those changes (for which you banned me) is because the other user was writing complete and unacceptable rubbish - or to be precise - he kept putting Albanian flag to the Macedonian football club Vardar, and kept chaning his name into Albanian name for the club, which was all absolute rubbish and just pure fantasy of him and (more than obvious) national propaganda. So with all honestly, I dont see what choices I had there other than to correct that BS (sorry but there is no other way to put it). Furthermore, I DID try to explain that to him, to which I only got treaths from him in Albanian and he was writing "UCK UCK" on my wall (which is an Albanian force that has been causing terror in Macedonia and the Balkans, and spreading propaganda for Great Albania etc). So even though I was also fed up from editing the article over and over again, I honestly fail to see what else was there to do when he kept constantly writing rubbish. This encyclopedia should be about facts and correct information, I cant just tolerate when someone abuses his right to edit article and uses that to write fictional stories he dreams of and pure rubbish, and I cant just ignore it just because he edited the same thing again.
- I do understand what you are saying and what you have written is basically why I l blocked him and did not block you as there has been clear provocation. It was late at night when I saw what had been done, so I did not deal with it fully, but I have seen the message he left you earlier and also messages others have left him on his talk page, so I understand there is more to this. I will be looking more closely at this and will almost certainly be bringing this to ANI, which, for future reference, is where you should take things like this (not simple content disputes though) which cannot be resolved on the article talk page. Rabotnicki
editHi, just wondering why you put Rabotnicki in Europa League with this edit to Template:2015–16 Macedonian First Football League Championship Round table? Qed237 (talk) 10:38, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Qed237: Well, theoretically you can remove it but I thought it can indeed be updated. Shkendija and Rabotnicki will be playing the cup final, meaning that either Rabotnicki will qualify to EL (if they win) or (if they lose) the 4th club from the League. However, since Shkupi is not eligible to play in Europe this season (they confirmed it several times as they are not fullfilling some of the conditions to play in a European Tournament this season), it means that the 4th club in the League is again Rabotnicki, so regardless who wins the Cup final, at the end (according to the current standings) Rabotnicki will be the 4th club to qualify for Europe. Theoretically, the only other possibility is Bregalnica in case if they overtake Rabotnicki in the League standings, otherweise in every other scenario the 4 clubs that will be playing in Europe from Macedonia are already known, Bregalnica is the last remaining club that stands a chance after Shkupi isnt eligible and Turnovo, Renova, Metalurg and Mladost already got eliminated.
- Okay, thank you for your explanation. When I saw it being added I had no idea about Shkupi not being eligible to play in Europe as that information was not in the table. I thought you added them because you had forgot the "new rules" from UEFA and thought they would qualify as runners-up even if they lost the cup (old rule said runners-up qualified if cup winner qualified through league). It would be good if we had some sources about Shkupi and added that information as a note just like we have done with {{2015–16 Ukrainian Premier League table}} (Dnipro banned by UEFA) or {{2015–16 Azerbaijan Premier League table}} (Inter Baku also banned by UEFA). Qed237 (talk) 10:55, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Qed237: Well the only sources for that info are from different Macedonian medias, there is none directly from UEFA for example. Do you think for example that this link would be sufficient (it includes a screenshot from UEFAs rules that they do not fulfill, as well as a statement from the club owner)
http://sportmedia.mk/fudbal/domashno-prvenstvo/shkupi-nema-pravo-da-igra-vo-evropa The issue is with the rule 2) shown on that picture, that says "The membership and the contractual relationship (if any) must have lasted - at the start of the licence season - for at least 3 consecutive years", as FK Shkupi exists as an individual club (under that name) for 2 seasons only, as before that they played as Sloga Jugomagnat and later on in 2013-14 they joined with Korzo and played as Albarsa etc etc (this story is also mentioned on the FK Shkupi wiki article).
So do you think this link would "do the job" or should it be one from UEFA? And do you think in that case it can be updatet that with the current standings, Rabotnicki is the next club to be qualifying for EL with the current standings (in case if Bregalnica overtakes them then that will certainly be removed of course)? Or should we still leave it out until after the Cup Final (but in my opinion right now the outcome of the cup doesnt really make any difference).
- That link is very good and for me it is enough. There is currently a discussion about how to update these situations in league table at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Qualification (you are very welcome to join). Some editors has expressed a concern about showing a position as qualification (for Macedonia 5th place), when suddenly they might not be qualification (if Bregalnica is fifth). They think that we should only show qualification when we are sure that the position will lead to a qualification. However, we have so far added "current qualifications" so far and I will add it to the table now but it might be removed depending on the discussion. Qed237 (talk) 11:33, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, I have now fixed the table. Does it look good? Qed237 (talk) 11:55, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes that looks great indeed!

- If you dont know how the teams are ordered, perhaps you should not change the table without asking someone first? Especially if you have been reverted in the past. The teams are ordered according to the official tiebreakers (link is below the table). 1) Points, 2) Goal differential, 3) Goals scored, 4) Fairplay ranking 5) UEFA nation ranking from October 2015. 0(0) iin nfobox for national teams.
editI am surprised yu havent seen that there is a whidespread conelsus at WP:FOOTY not to add 0 (0) parameters for nt in infobox but rather to wait until the player doent me the actual debut. That was deciided that way because we had to decide what exactly are we gonna add iin the infbox if the irst and last call or ht efirt and last actual aprearance. See the problem? It ended up being decidied that we should add only the year of the first appearance this meaning to wait until the plyer doent actually make a debut.
This only appliies to the national team sectiion of the iinfobox while club iinfobox parameters can clearly have a 0 (0) if they dont debuted yet for the club.
Just follow the logic. IIf we add the year of the first call and leave 0 (0) what if that player only debuted 3 years later? Would you leave the year of the first call? That wuld mean we are adding the year span at nt parameter for the first and last call. That could be usefull but it iis all about cnssitency and whiiile we could esiily fiiind this for nowdys player, for historical players thisi would be extremely hard. So by now the only conciistent way to do it is to add the nt paraamenter only when the player actually debuts. II know many Albanian ediitors have been adding the Albania 0 (0) to the iinfobox, but you can just delete them that. FkpCascais (talk) 00:18, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
I forgot one importnt thing. What WP:FOOTY sugests is to add the call info at artcle text. Exemple: "Player Fudbal Fudbalovski receved hiis first call for the Macedonian senior natiiional team at 30 february 2019 but has failed to debut." FkpCascais (talk) 00:21, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

editThis is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Template:2016–17 Macedonian First Football League table, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Qed237 (talk) 17:36, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Do you mind elaborating how exactly am I vandalising or do you just decide things here by your own what is correct and what isn't, and if someone has a different opinion than he is vandalising and should be banned? You do realise that the correct spelling of the club name is Rabotnichki and not Rabotnički? And that it's unlogical to add the name of the city Štip next to Bregalnica as by not one of the other clubs in the name is also written the name of the city? If Bregalnica should be called Bregalnica Stip then Vardar should be called Vardar Skopje and Shkendija should be Shkendija Tetovo etc. Otherwise it's rubbish and if you ask me - you are the one vandalising by writing those incorrect names, therefore you should be banned here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msb73505 (talk • contribs)
- The strong warning is based on earlier warnings and the fact that I believe you are aware of the nameing practise. We always use standard piping, which is removing shortenings. So "Arsenal FC" becomes "Arsenal", "FC Bayern Munich" becomes "Bayern Munich" and so on. Please note the city name "Munich" is present for Bayern and not Arsenal (we dont write "Arsenal London") and it all depends on the commonname of the team. Look for example at the team names for English source soccerway, used on many articles. When team article is at "FK Rabotnički" it makes no sense at all to pipe to "Rabotnichki", instead of the standard of just removing FK. Qed237 (talk) 17:55, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
Timestamp
editHi.
When you update statistics and current squad (and other important information) please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it also prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 18:03, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

GFK Tikvesh squad numbers
editHi, I appreciate you are trying to make changes to Tikvesh's current squad, but the numbers are not permanent, they solely depend on who is selected to play or available (suspensions, injuries etc) for particular match. To avoid making meaningless changes after every single game throughout the season please leave the Current Squad section as it is at the moment. Of course you are very welcome to make changes if necessary, for instance when new players join or some leave the team. Thanks for your understanding. F00700I (talk) 22:35, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

Your edits on North Macedonia national football team
editWhat's the difference between Ferhan Hasani and Stefan Spirovski, Ivan Trichkovski? Why do you insist on having a player who was obviously _NOT_ in the squad, listed as part of the squad... This is EXACTLY what the section recent call-ups is for!!! Please have a look at #1 ranked Belgium where the same happened with some players dropping out... --Pelotastalk|contribs 14:30, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- What on Earth are you talking about, how was he NOT in the squad for Latvia and Slovenia when he was even a starter ainst Latvia!?!?! Are you comprehending that this is the squad of players involved in BOTH matches, not just Slovenia only!? Are you not understanding the "squad called up for the qualifying games against Latvia and Slovenia" part and do you not notice that it doesnt just say "squad called up for the match against for Slovenia".
And the difference between him and Trichkovski and Spirovski is that they entierly withdrew from the squad for both games, whereas Hasani WAS part of it, regardless if he was included in only the first out of the 2 games. Is it so hard to comprehend?
And the fact that they update the Belgian squad wrongly doesn't mean we should do it too even if it is a misinformation. Again the squad is for players that were involved in BOTH games not just the last of the two. Otherwise the title of the squad clearly is wrong to claim that it stands for Latvia as well.
- Lol... wow! Take it easy! I think it's just a different way of interpreting... the section header says "CURRENT squad"... was Hasani part of the squad for the match against Slovenia: No. "Current" for me refers to the latest squad so that's why personally I would remove him. By the way if Trichkovski and Spirovski did not turn up for either matches, in my view their last callup should be v. Israel not v. Slovenia. So I still believe it's more correct to put Hasani in the "recent call-ups" section, just add the reference as it is now and it will be clear for all. Now it's very confusing why Hasani is in and the others are not, does not make sense. Also, please stay polite. Pelotastalk|contribs 16:29, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- On a totally unrelated note, you seem to know a lot about North Macedonian football... any local news about what Jovan Kostovski will do now that he is end of contract in Leuven? Pelotastalk|contribs 16:59, 5 May 2019 (UTC)

editRegarding WP:Piped links
editHi. I just checked the Croatian Football Federation's website and found that RNK Split is indeed shortened to "Split" there: https://hns-cff.hr/natjecanja/3-hnl-jug/ I guess that works because Hajduk Split is more commonly referred to as "Hajduk". So, sorry for reverting that change of yours. I'll reinstate the piping of Olympique Nîmes, though, the club is commonly referred to as just "Nîmes". editNorth Macedonia national football team
edit@Msb73505: Hello, I'm a Balkanian (same as you I hope), I saw that you reverted my editing that I did to the "Players" part, I did not have a bad intention with that editing but I just tried to make it more understandable and grounded the same as other large national teams would do, which have made the same organization (training camp) over the years as Albania, Albania U21, Serbia, Moldova, Russia, China, Sweden, etc. P.S. I am ready for cooperation. ManiacOfSport (talk); 12:12, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- @ManiacOfSport: Hello, thank you for reaching out, I appreciate your message. I noticed your changes and I know they were made with good intentions, and I also did not have bad intentions by reverting them, but I just thought its best to keep the unofficial training camp squad as a separate squad from the last official current squad. I have been active at the Macedonian National Team page for over 10 years now and normally we never even mentioned or added such training camps as they were unofficial, and 98% of those players were never summoned again, thus I feel like itll just be annoying and messy to later carry on these players for 12 months in the list of recent callups even though they were never called up for an official fixture. Therefore I just thought its best to present it as a second/additional unofficial squad, and delete it next month when the squad for the March games is announced, so we dont carry these players on the list of recent callups for 12 months (unless of course they have also been gathered for an official game). Then again, I dont know if there is anywhere an official rule or guideline for these situations for an ultimate right answer. Msb73505 (talk); 12:24, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Msb73505: I understand you and what you are saying is completely true that looking at it logically it happened, but definitely in this camp there are many promising players who would help North Macedonia like Agon and Dashamir Elezi who are promising players, I am same as you I have been editing for different national teams for a long time but in recent years I have started editing with a user account after until recent years I have edited without a user account. I try to edit for all national teams, but I prefer to edit for some charming Balkanian national teams (in a good sense) such as Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. I reiterate that I am open for cooperation and for any communication between us I would prefer you to contact me by email: maniacofsport.wiki@outlook.com. The article Bojan Ilievski has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I can't find any coverage beyond routine press about signing to teams, doesn't meet WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 01:14, 7 November 2022 (UTC)

Hey mate, the page Siniša Jeremić is up for deletion, but it looks like he has a good amount of caps in Serbian. I'm not sure if you're the right person to ask, but are you able to see if there are Balkan sources for the page? If not, that's fine, just curious. Recent edits and vulgar language
edit@Msb73505: Hello, you've made some changes to GFK Tikvesh current squad and used unacceptable vulgar and very insulting language (Edit summary description). I would kingly ask you if you are editing GFK Tikvesh page to comment with Wikipedia acceptable form of language. By your edits it's easily noticeable that you are not much aware of the situation in GFK Tikvesh and your edits are purely based on assumption, so I would briefly explain you why the jersey numbers didn't match with todays squad numbers:
a) all numbers were up to date and matched with the official reports from the previous friendly matches played during pre-season, 2022-23 old kit was used during pre-season. b) 2023-24 new kit was presented yesterday and new numbers appointed therefore some of the numbers didn't match. c) you have also added a player from another club to our squad, youth transfer done 2 weeks ago, so I would kindly ask you to do your research and update your changes, otherwise your changes would be edited.
Just to add that this is not a first time you use unacceptable form of language, your edits are noticed in multiple clubs from the Macedonian First League, your edits are mainly described with insulting vulgar comments. Would you be kind enough to use appropriate language across the board please and assume that edits from Wikipediants are done unintentionally.
Kind Regards F00700I (talk) 16:27, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Please elaborate what is that "player from another club to our squad" and "youth transfer done 2 weeks ago"?
- I am literally checking all registrations at comet.ffm.com.mk, it does not get more official than that. All players listed are registered with the club, there is not a single foreign one from another club. And all youth players included in the senior squad are ones who have been appearing numerous times over the past 6 months, it is not like I included someone who has only been playing for the youth team. Msb73505 (talk) 17:22, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Msb73505: We can continue the conversation only if you apologise first for your language and show some manners which are acceptable and expected from Wikipedia users. Otherwise it make no sense to communicate with someone who is rude and vulgar on almost every Wiki page. Kind Regards F00700I (talk) 11:57, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- I appologize. Do you mind elaborating now what players have I wrongly added in Tikvesh's squad? And if I have indeed made a mistake with the last update, then why are you not actually correcting that mistake instead of just telling me that I should do my research before updating?Msb73505 (talk) 18:16, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Gjoko Spasov is not with Tikvesh any longer. He is now part of AP Brera youth categories and already played few matches for them. I deleted him from the squad few weeks ago, but you added him again, therefore I didn’t want to delete for second time, so I’ve suggested you to do your research. Anyway, you can make the changes now if you wish, if not I’ll do it in the next couple of days, together with some addition. Happy editing. F00700I (talk) 22:03, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
