You are right, that's what the article says. But there has never been a reference confirming that in the article. If you go looking for a specific genre, you will likely find it. But is that genre suitable for listing on Wikipedia? What if it's an outlier, or the author is a nobody, or they copied from somewhere else?

Mate I'm trying my best to make Wikipedia a better and more thorough site in terms of listing music genres. If that is somehow a rule violation then this place has its priorities all wrong. There's a reason why Rate Your Music is so much more accurate when it comes to genres than Wikipedia - they actually listen to their userbase instead of having a tyranny of admins who revert everything they disagree with! Mostly what I'm doing is adding categories to the bottoms of pages in order to make them line up with the genres listed at the top, yet for some reason those keep getting undone! I just don't get it! Just because you don't agree with the genre doesn't mean you get to unilaterally decide to remove it without discussion, and just because you disagree with it doesn't mean the categories shouldn't line up with the genres that are listed!
