Lucy miller mitchell
editThis is in response to the post you made on the talk page of a deleted article. To find out more information on why the article on Lucy miller mitchell was removed, you can contact the administrator who deleted it via their talk page. I'll also ping them here to let them know you were interested. They may respond here if they see the notification before you message them on their talk page. The deleting administrator was RHaworth.
For the future, it's always best to ask questions of specific users on their talk pages, as it will give them a notification no matter what, whereas they'll only be alerted to your post on an article's talk page if they're watching it. The talk pages of articles are best used for discussion about the article itself that is not directed at any specific user but rather at all interested parties. Even in these cases, sometimes it's a good idea to leave a note on the talk pages of users who may be interested in the topic letting them know you wish to discuss something about the article on the talk page (i.e. notifying an editor who has done substantial work on the article).

- I have deleted the article talk page where you asked for advice on how to improve the article to avoid the copyvio problem because, as BU Rob13 says, user talk pages are best for these discussions. I will leave RHaworth to comment about this particular article, but point you to WP:Close paraphrasing for general advice. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:18, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
Change in your user rights
editYour Wikipedia account was previously granted a user right called "course instructor" by the Wiki Education Foundation. That right enabled you to create a course page through the EducationProgram MediaWiki extension. Starting in fall 2015, the Wiki Education Foundation has discontinued its use of this extension. Going forward, users should create course pages through the Wiki Education Foundation website. That application is more user-friendly, and any content is automatically mirrored to Wikipedia. To prevent confusion, we'll be removing your "course instructor" user right, as it is not needed with the new system. This is simply a notification of the technical change to your account. No action is needed from you at this time.
If you plan on teaching with Wikipedia for the fall 2015 term, please email me (helaine wikiedu.org) for instructions how to create your next course page using our new system. --Helaine (Wiki Ed) (talk), sent by MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:34, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
