Image copyright problem with Image:NorthSouth.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:NorthSouth.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. About the NSU image

I would like to appreciate your initiative to upload pictures for North South University. But, Wikipedia doesn't permit uploading web-content including texts and pictures without necessary permission. I noticed that you have uploaded a picture which is taken from NSU website. It is likely to be deleted soon. Could you please kindly donate Wikipedia few pictures taken by you or that doesn't have any restricted copyright issue? Since you are new here, you may face difficulties in understanding working principle of Wikipedia. I strongly suggest you to go through the welcome message that have placed at the top of this page to read different core policies. Note that policies are kind of rules that we have to maintain. In other words, you can call it Constitution. And, don't hesitate to knock me if you feel it necessary. Last but not the least, you may join a working group on Bangladesh and Bangladeshi Universities from the following links:

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!
