1971 East Central State Academicals season moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to 1971 East Central State Academicals season. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar and needs to be more focused with reliable sourcing for each claim.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Classicwiki (talk) If you reply to me here, please ping me. 05:21, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please contribute constructively to Wikipedia. Don't change my title and redirect my page Msogbueze (talk) 07:05, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Msogbueze, do not accuse others of spamming without some proof. You should review Wikipedia:No personal attacks. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 06:21, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

This content is not my original content , Classicwiki changed the Title of my page and redirected it. Msogbueze (talk) 07:02, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Msogbueze I think there are some misunderstandings about how Wikipedia works. There is a reason why @CambridgeBayWeather, denied your page protection request. You need to stop calling me a "spammer" because you are not assuming good faith and are making personal attacks.
I can see through your talk page/contribution history that you are passionate about the East Central State Academicals' 1971 season. It seems like an important event in Nigerian football history! Believe it or not, I was working to improve the article you created. Just because you created the article does not mean you own the article or its content (see Wikipedia:Ownership of content).
It seems like you have tried to publish the article to the mainspace at least four times, at a certain point, moving and republishing under a new title without addressing the core issues will likely create problems for you. The article needs to be more focused. I already believe it can be a notable topic, but you need to use reliable sourcing and clear language to convey the central topic. Is it the team? Is it the season? Is it the match? I suggest choosing one and working from there. Please see the guide to writing better articles for information on how to better format your submission.
I see that you have nominated the draft for speedy deletion. I hope you reconsider. Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation or sent back to drafts can be disappointing. I encourage you to visit the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, please head over to Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help. I declined the speedy. If you look at the history of the draft you can see that you did originate the page and Classicwiki made some later edits. This is how Wikipedia works. Editors like you, Classicwiki and myself start articles and then others come along and help improve them.
One thing I noticed is that there is no article on the East Central State Academicals or the Manuwa/Adebajo Cup (Manuwa Adebajo Cup) but there is an article on Patrick Ekeji. I was going to suggest that before writing about a particular season of the team that the article for the team be written first or the cup they won. However, I see from Patrick Ekeji that the East Central State Academicals are (or were) a high school team. In that case It may be very difficult to show that they are notable enough to be included in Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (sports).
I have deleted the recreation of 1971 East Central State Academicals: Manuwa/Adebajo Cup because of the concerns of notability of a high school team. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 11:31, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the advice, it is noted and appreciated Msogbueze (talk) 15:46, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for misunderstanding your intentions. I'll pause here and continue with my book. Msogbueze (talk) 15:50, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
