Request reason:

I was adding in this information for the state parks about the 2024 eclipse. I'll remove the edits. I apologize and the intent wasnt to spam or advertise. The goal was to notify those looking at the pages about the solar eclipses. As seen with https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaver_Brook_Falls_Wayside, the change was reviewed and not reverted. The changes aren’t spam and can be seen as valid. As more details about the 2024 eclipse events and such is made available, these pages will be updated accordingly. Decline reason:

This is indeed a form of spamming or at least promotion. Wikipedia is not a travel guide or astronomy guide to help people plan eclipse viewing. There are places to do that, this isn't one of them. If you think the duration of an eclipse is encyclopedic content that should stand in an article for all time, there are ways to make that argument first. If you have a connection to the website you were linking to, that needs to be disclosed(see WP:COI). As you don't indicate that you will do anything differently going forward or that there are other topics you want to edit about, there are no grounds to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 09:06, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
