Welcome!
editWelcome BACK to Wikipedia, Muchuchubacca! Thank you for your contributions. I am Etamni and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Discover what's going on in the Wikimedia community
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
I noticed that your recent edit was reverted by another editor, and I thought a brief explanation might be in order. The information you provided -- that March Against Monsanto chapters (or at least some of their members) in several locations apparently fell for the Dihydrogen monoxide hoax -- was really interesting, but apparently the only sources for it (so far) come from the facebook pages of the organization that pranked the chapters, and the facebook pages of those chapters. (I also found a blogger that mentioned it, but that doesn't count either.) Unfortunately, in situations like this, facebook isn't considered reliable enough to use as a source for an encyclopedia, just as the blog site isn't a good source either.) Keep your eye out to see if any mainstream news sources cover this incident -- if they do, their coverage might be enough to put the information back in the article. Happy editing!
