Hi Guliolopez,
Thank you for taking the time to edit my draft article. I have tried my best to address most of the edits, and would like to offer some answers to questions you raised in your edits.
The start time for the regatta has now been cited using last year's programme. I have a pdf of this programme, and have entered a citation, but I am not sure how I can link it.
As regards to the "famous" Casey brothers, this was not my personal opinion nor is it uncited, as the source provided even refers to them as "legendary" and that there is a book on the subject. The Salters Cup is a race of the Killarney regatta, which is also mentioned in the citation: "Paddy Casey was successful in the Salter Cup races at Killarney Regatta and was undefeated light and heavyweight wrestling champion of Ireland and also won many long-distance cycling races in Ireland". For your convenience, the citation I used can be found here.
I have done my best to fix the citation errors you pointed out, especially where they have been left out or where the source does not include the stated information. Most of this can be attributed to my being new at this site and relatively unfamiliar with the technology, rather than the citation rules.
I'm sure I have still missed a lot, and I will continue to work on this. Thank you again for your criticisms.

PS - and sorry for adding a second reply - but in regards to your conflict of interest suggestion, I have absolutely no connection to the running or promotion of this regatta. I was surprised that it didn't have its own page and thought it was a good place to start since I had some awareness of the existence of some (but not all) of the mentioned sources etc. and thus thought that the topic made an easy starting point for me. Hi Muckross1. And thanks for your note. In no particular order:
  • WP:COI. Fair enough. If you don't have any connection, then that's fine. It's just that your username (at least partially) implies a connection to the Muckross rowing club. Which is mentioned in the article. As winners of most of the 2023 races.
  • WP:VER. Per my recent tag/note, and while I appreciate that you have attempted to address the issue, the "start time" column is not supported by a valid/verifiable reference. (The link to the 1923 programme cannot replace a link/reference to a 2023 programme.) In all honesty, I'm not even sure why we have/need a "start time" column. If this only refers to the times in 2023 (and those times varied from the start times over the previous 200+ years), then why would we (randomly) include the start times for the 2023 event? Over all others? Especially when we don't seem to be able to support its inclusion?
  • WP:FV. The linked killarneytoday.com page doesn't appear to mention the colours of the club teams. And yet you removed the "cn" tag and added this link alongside the colours used by the Commercials club. How does this link support that text? If it doesn't, what's it doing there?
  • WP:PRIMARY/WP:IS. We are now heavily reliant on a single source (the "official" website of the subject org?) for a large chunk of the content. That is less than ideal. Are there no other/independent sources which can support the text?
  • WP:NPOV/WP:ATTRIBUTEPOV. Even if the author of the source material described the Caseys as "legendary" (and I don't personally see that word in the source), it is Wikipedia's policy to use neutral (objective) terms. And, where non-neutral (subjective) terms are used, then the person holding or expressing that opinion must be specified. And the opinion attributed. See WP:SUBSTANTIATE and MOS:FLOWERY. The latter of which specifically covers the use of "famous" and "legendary" in text.
As it stands, and while another AfC reviewer may have a different opinion, I'm not sure the draft is currently ready to be moved to the main article namespace. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 14:38, 30 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi Guliolopez.
Thanks again for your feedback.
Removing the start time column is no problem to me. I thought at the time that it may be valuable information as they were the most up to date start times (which is why I meant to reference the 2023 programme). In any case, I agree that it is unnecessary and not essential to the article.
I have added this source to explain cite the change from Aghadoe to Fossa rowing clubs. I have left the 1925 programme cited to show that Aghadoe competed during the stated period.
Regarding the reliance on one source, the killarneyregatta.paulogriffin.com website seems to be created by rowing historian Paul Griffin (this guy? or maybe a relative) and sources its information from other local rowing historians and texts on Killarney rowing which is detailed here. I do however agree that we are a bit reliant on this website as a source here, which is why I am working on getting a copy of "Killarney's Rowing Story" (1985) which should allow me to offer additional citations.
Regarding the club colours, I have now added this programme as a source. You'll see the colours detailed on the first page in the same section as the slipways.
I understand that the draft isn't yet perfect which is why you will see that I have not yet submitted it for consideration.
Kind regards,
