Notability of Muh (US band)

Wikipedia is only supposed to have articles about bands that are sufficiently "notable," as defined by the standards here (the main one is being the subject of a lot of independent published works, press coverage or whatever). An article shouldn't be speedily deleted just for not meeting those standards, but it can be speedily deleted for not even claiming to meet those standards, which Muh (band) didn't. This is basically just what the form letter I left above says. Also given your username creating that article seems like self-promotion, but that's a different issue. Based on this it seems like the best idea would be to just register a new username, since you haven't done many edits. If you do that you should probably leave a note on your userpage saying that you used to edit under this name so that people will know. Unsolicited advice about the band: I really suggest that you figure out whether or not they're notable and find some reliable sources about them before you write another article about them.--P4k 01:42, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
