Race (cl....)
I want to apologize for the sharp comments I gave after your reversion of my insertion of the new biomedicine draft. I was already frustrated with what I felt to be a general refusal on your part to cooperate towards improving the article. I am glad that you are now going to write up a proposal on how to improve it. I'd also be very interested in seeing how you would propose the general structure of the article to be.·Maunus·ƛ· 18:11, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- No worries. I have had a lack of motivation to work on such topics recently because few other editors have expressed interest. But since you and a few others have taken an interest, I am now willing to contribute a little more. Wapondaponda (talk) 04:33, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Please stop.
This is the second time in the past month that you’ve followed me or Ferahgo to an article you weren’t previously involved in, for the express purpose of opposing us there. (The first time being when you followed Ferahgo to the Race (classification of humans) article in order to oppose her biomedicine draft, after having previously not been involved in this article for the past several months.) What you’re doing is called Wikihounding. I’m going to ask you politely, just this once, that you please leave me alone as long as I’m editing outside of the topic area that you’re normally involved in. I really hope you’ll be willing to stop this before the situation escalates, because it probably will escalate if you’re not willing to. --Captain Occam (talk) 08:43, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I beg to differ, the article New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case is about race, and it was even discussed during the arbitration case, a few arbs stated that it wasn't strictly speaking within the scope of your topic ban, but didn't think it was the ideal subject for you to be involved in. It's not something I intend to get deeply involved in, as I think the incident's importance has been blown out of proportion, however I will continue to take an interest in the article. Wapondaponda (talk) 11:01, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
FYI
In the course of an AN/I thread relating to something else entirely that started on my talk page, here Captain Occam found another opportunity to plug his favorite cause. Hopefully this will remain a minor tangent. But I thought you might find this amusing. Slrubenstein | Talk
- That may even qualify as a borderline violation of his editing restriction. Wapondaponda (talk) 12:03, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- -Sigh- if you really feel the need to start a second AE thread about me within the space of ten days, then I guess you can go ahead, but I really think it would just be a waste of everyone’s time. I’ve been paying attention to the precedent that exists for topic bans, and in most of the cases I’ve looked at, it’s been acceptable to refer to the topic-area of the ban in noticeboard threads about unrelated topics as long as I’m not saying anything disruptive or contentious about it. I think this thread would be an application of the same principle, since the thread is about whether Technofaye is editing in good faith, not about these articles specifically. --Captain Occam (talk) 14:18, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've already mentioned that unless there is any egregious violation, I won't be filing any more requests. I have expressed my concerns about your conduct enough times, so from now on I will leave it up to the community. With regards to your comments, I am of the opinion that you are once again testing the limits of your restriction. Taken in isolation, the comments are not such a big deal, but if such a pattern were to continue, it would not be impossible for someone else to start an AE thread. Furthermore you should also consider that whenever you appeal for your ban, such incidents may be brought up when discussing whether or not your ban should be lifted. Wapondaponda (talk) 15:25, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry to burst in here but "concerned about your conduct"? How the heck did you yourself get unblocked after being exposed as a massive sockpuppeteer again and again? That's chutzpah right there. FunkMonk (talk) 16:32, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Didn't you have something to do with my block, fanning the flames and all. Anyway that's history. Wikipedia evolves and we users evolve too, hopefully for the better. Maybe that is why I am still around. Wapondaponda (talk) 17:25, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- So you're blaming me for you having 20 sockpuppets? FunkMonk (talk) 17:31, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not blaming anybody, I'll take responsibility for my own actions. Only that you may have been involved. It's history now so I would like to move on. Wapondaponda (talk) 20:45, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I was glad to see your statement, "We shouldn't lose sight of our main purpose as Wikipedians, that is to build an encyclopedia." I hope I will continue to see your contributions to this encyclopedia. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 04:04, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
The article African (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Virtually orphaned unsourced stub about an album track. Can be adequately covered by a link at African (disambiguation) pointing to the album.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Michig (talk) 20:07, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Just noticed your posted picture on New Guinea Albinos. I was able then ID my photo as being a New Guinea Albino. The picture was taken in WW2. SCD
I dont understand why you removed the section regarding SCD in "African admixture in Europe". You said SCD in France is due to immigration and not admixture. But admixture generaly occurs because of immigration. This is the case in France where many immigrants from French Overseas Departments and Territories, Africa, Maghreb... marry local women. There is no "color line" in France as there is in the US and "interracial marriage" are frequent. That's why admixture is high in France. Therefore this section should not have been removed.90.28.127.85 (talk) 08:26, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File permission problem with File:Map of blood group O.gif
Thanks for uploading File:Map of blood group O.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. B (talk) 14:45, 25 September 2018 (UTC)

The file File:Major mtdna haplogroups.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused. Uploader claimed to be the author of two other uploads from different websites, so difficult to know if this claim of authorship is valid.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. B (talk) 14:46, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
