Hello, Muotinukke, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.   You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mel Odom (artist). Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Also, please don't leave vandalism warnings for content disputes. --OnoremDil 14:44, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for edit warring

edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Note: Any admin may unblock this account, without consulting with me first, should the above user pledge to stop editing the disputed articles and use the talk page instead of reverting. --Jayron32 15:22, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand that I was blocked because I tried to revert back my edits in a so called edit war with another user. I have a new user account and I did not know this policy before. Now I know it and I will not do it again. I will try to discuss first on the talk page and if it doesnt help I will seek help from the wikipedia administrators. Thank you! Muotinukke (talk) 15:37, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Accept reason:

user pledges to stop edit war. Please seek dispute resolution. Jayron32 15:42, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I will be unblocking you presently. May I suggest that the two of you ask for help at Wikipedia:Third opinion which is a location to seek help in resolving disputes. You can also get help at a number of places listed at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. --Jayron32 15:40, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
