Hello Abishe, Many thanks for your quick notice and I really respect your concern. May I kindly know the reason to put my article in question for deletion? Are the citations and references are not from reliable published sources or if Mohamed Abdulla is not eligible as a notable cricketer. I really appreciate your guidance on this. Thank you! - Hi Murad400, first of all I thank you for your kind reply. But I want to clarify that the information you provided as a content in the article was not supported enough with reliable sources apart from Cricinfo. The information such as T20I debut in 2004 isn't properly supported even through the Cricinfo website. So the article fails to meet with notability criteria. Hi Abishe, Thank you so much for your clarification. However, if you go through with my content closely you will realize that my sources are not limited to Cricinfo only and I have also linked my article with other reputable websites i.e. Africa Cricket Association, International Cricket Council, Malawi Cricket Union and Wikipedia web pages (for tournament fixtures and performances) where you can find enough content to consider Mohamed Abdulla as a notable individual (as far as concern of Malawi). The other important aspect of this article which we should not abandon is the Cricket popularity in Malawi. Set aside the Cricket recognition, I am sure that many people around the world does not even know where Malawi is located and since Malawi is the sixth poorest country in the world it is very unfortunate that Malawi Cricket Team does not marked their foot on international media as far as concern of Cricket and I believe that International Cricket Council and Cricinfo are the most reputable and reliable sources for any Cricketer who is playing Cricket for their respective country. Talking about Mohamed Abdulla (cricketer) T20I debut, I have already edited the article with correct year before your this reply where I found a legit source about the tournament fixtures. Unfortunately, as I said before, Malawi does not get enough attention globally for playing international Cricket hence Cricinfo does not have any scorecard from Africa Cup 2002 in their archive. However, I will still try to find a more suitable source that would be very straight forward to claim Abdulla’s authentic debut year. Nevertheless, as per Cricinfo website, they are showing his debut match date as 16 May 2011. Therefore, I trust that any changes in his debut date should not be considered him as unknown person. I hope that my clarifications would be sufficient to convince our Wikipedia Community and since this is my first article I am expecting to be welcomed with an open arms. Thank you once again for your guidance and support. Murad400 (talk) 19:51, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
Take a look at this discussion. Most of them have recommended to delete the article citing notability issues. Thank you. Abishe (talk) 02:26, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
Hello Abishe, Many thanks for your reply. I have noticed this morning that in my article reference section it was only about Cricinfo hence I have tried my best to edit my article with some more reliable references that's even included with a video interview of Abdulla in Botswana. I hope that these references will be considered by our fellow editors so the page could avoid the tag of deletion and get published without any reservations. I really appreciate your support and cooperation in advance. Murad400 (talk) 09:32, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi Abishe, can I also take part in this discussion or if this forum is only for the seniors? Murad400 (talk) 13:43, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
