Please post any new messages below this line. Thank you.

editHave you ticked the 'Treat the above as wiki markup' option? Try the following:
<span style="border: 1px solid"><span style="background-color: #c0c0c0; color:#ffffff"><b>ɱʊṩịḉ౾₳₦Đ౨†ρΌພغʀ†</b></span><span style="background-color:White; color:#c0c0c0">(ʈɑǁχ)</span></span>
You also missed a closing </span>

- Thank you for responding so quickly. I tried the above and it still didn't work, still the same error message (Invaild raw HTML signature)... Could it have anything to do with my user name (as stated below?) .. I'm sure you have better things to do but any help would be appreciated. Music&&Power.. (talk) 23:56, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
- How about:
<span style="border: 1px solid"><span style="background-color: #c0c0c0; color:#ffffff">ɱʊṩịḉ౾₳₦Đ౨†ρΌພغʀ†</span><span style="background-color:White; color:#c0c0c0">(ʈɑǁχ)</span></span>
- I replaced
<b>
and</b>
with
. Really don't know why it isn't working. If that still doesn't work I suggest changing your sig, probably get rid of the box and borders.--Obsidi♠nSoul 00:38, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Friendly advice
edit...about your user-name. Whilst it is 'permitted', it is likely to cause you problems down the line - for two reasons. Firstly, because of the ampersands (&). Mediawiki (the software) uses those in URLs, such as;
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sausage&action=edit
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sausage&action=protect
Whilst it will kinda 'cope' with e.g. editing your own pages, using URL encoding for the ampersands as %26, it will cause problems with all kinds of things, down the line.
For an example, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/& note that link will make it look like Wikipedia is broken; don't panic, it isn't.
Secondly, the periods (.) on the end are problematic too. In IRC (such as, in #wikipedia-en-help) for example, clicking on the URL "http://enwp.org/User_talk:Music%26%26Power.." actually fails; we have to put an underscore on the end to make it work, http://enwp.org/User_talk:Music%26%26Power.._
Also, notice how the first of those URLs displays, right here, on a page;
http://enwp.org/User_talk:Music%26%26Power..
Note how the '..' is not considered part of the URL.
All of this is friendly advice; it is perfectly fine if you decide to keep that user-name. I am merely saying, from experience, that one day it'll cause you problems. If you eventually decide to become an administrator, I am almost certain that people would insist you change it.
Therefore, it might be best to change it now.
Note, your signature can still be just like it is, even if your actual user-name was "MusicAndAndPower" or whatever.

- Thank you for the heads up. I might have to do so sometime in the near future, whenever I can think of another clever user-name, that is. Music&&Power.. (talk) 23:56, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
