Speedy deletion nomination of User:Musiclaborotry
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Musiclaborotry requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Jan Myšák (talk) 18:52, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

Please don't edit AfC templates
editHi, please don't change the AfC templates of pending drafts, like you did with Draft:Lungelihle Zwane. The AfC process relies on the templates remaining there until the draft is either accepted or deleted. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:00, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry my bad. Musiclaborotry (talk) 10:03, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
Again RE AfC
editHi again, could you please help me understand what you did here, and especially your edit comment "Approved Article"? What did you mean by that?
I'm similarly curious about this edit of yours, which gives the impression you've reviewed and accepted a draft at AfC.
Anything you wish to share? Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:09, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- could you please review my "draft:Lungile Zwane" as this is an article about a female DJ who is most talked about and people would really like to know more about this person, Please. Musiclaborotry (talk) 10:30, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Your edit to Uncle Waffles has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:08, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Uncle Waffles, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please do not remove the templates, they are there for a reason. You appear to have caused a copyright violation in this article, and the offending content must be removed from the page history, for which reason I have requested revision deletion. You removing the revdel template doesn't resolve the problem in any way. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:21, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Hello Musiclaborotry. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Musiclaborotry. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Musiclaborotry|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE💕 15:39, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. PRAXIDICAE💕 15:59, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Welcome!
editHello, Musiclaborotry, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

"New and upcoming"
editYour user page says "Aim of this user id to create new article about South African new and upcoming artists". Wikipedia is interested in articles about established artists, not new and upcoming artists. New artists don't usually have enough information published about them in independent sources (blogs and interviews don't count). Getting articles about new artists accepted for publication in WP will be a struggle. 73.127.147.187 (talk) 02:45, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

Musiclaborotry (talk) 04:57, 7 May 2022 (UTC)- I have moved Uncle Waffles back to the draft space, because it was not accepted by a reviewer. Please fix the draft's issues (i.e. non-encyclopedic tone and poorly formatted sources) and then resubmit it for review. I also wonder whether your are getting paid to do this? If so, you must disclose (see WP:PAID). Please also not that Wikipedia is not a place for new and upcoming artists, it is a place for writing about notable topics that have been subject to significant coverage in reliable sources. Speedy deletion nomination of Turna .
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Turna . requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Uncle Waffles moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Uncle Waffles, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
