Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Kitia2". The reason given for Kitia2's block is: "Abusing sock puppet accounts: Sockpuppet of User:Kitia".
Decline reason: This sockpuppeteer uses this excuse all the time. — Daniel Case (talk) 04:02, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Blocked as a sockuppet
editI came to this page after encountering this user's edits, and then checking the contributions list. This looked to me so strongly like a sockpuppet of the indef-blocked Kitia (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) that I was going to file a report at WP:SSP. However, the fact that the IP addresses match looks like sufficient evidence to confirm my suspicions, so I will now indef-block this account. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 22:43, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Unblock

Request reason:
I am not Kitia. He is my brother. We both edit similar articles because we are siblings.
Additional note: Our coumputer does not handle E-Mails, for some odd reason. That may help unblocking dear Kitia. Notice written by Kitia under this account.
Decline reason:
Again, this has just happened too many times to seem plausible anymore. Not that it ever did. — Daniel Case (talk) 04:00, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Since I originally blocked User:Kitia, I won't review this particular request at this time, but I will point out that this is far from the first time the "my friend/brother/cat did it" excuse has come up, nor the first time abusive sockpuppetry has been suspected; see history at User talk:Kitia. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- For the history of sockpuppetry by this person, see Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Kitia and Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Kitia, where there are no less than 7 known sockpuppets of Kitia. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:09, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

If I could e-mail my side of the story, why wouldn't I? Why are all of mine (and Kitia)'s supposed bad sides (and we are all imperfect) always overshadow our good sides? Why does Kitia's attempts to say sorry always be overruled by some nerdy people who take pride in being admins, as they have no other enjoyment in life? Now, I'm not saying that we aren't nerds, we just do other things in life. As I discover Wikipedia from my brother, I find how great a project it is -- though easily corruptable. And not just vandals -- indeed more so admins who abuse their priveleges. I'm not saying names, though I have some in mind. Also, IF WIKIPEDIA IS SUPPOSEDLY A FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA, THEN WHY DO CONSTRUCTIVE EDITORS GET RANDOMLY BLOCKED BECAUSE OF THEIR SUPPOSED ABUSE WHEN THEY MAY HAVE ONLY DONE IT A BIT (Kitia) OR NEVER (Me) AND THEIR USER PAGES PROTECTED (Kitia and hopefully not me) WHEN THEIR ARE PLENTY OF LONG TERM ABUSERS OUT THERE WITH A HIGHER SOCIAL POSITION SO THEY ARE EXEMPT FROM BLOCKAGE? Sorry about being this in-your-face about this, but WIKIPEDIA NEEDS HELP, as does myself and Kitia, and several other people in a bad way. And who knows, maybe we all do in a bad way for contributed to this possibly damned site. But maybe we can do something about this horrible situation. We could simply give up like User:RickK and let the abuse continue. Or we could analyse every edit and see our human flaws, trying to forgive and forget to those who can. That is, if we all are not blocked by some vandalbot and wikipedia crashes. I remain optimistic, but that grows smallerevery second I see another blare of abuse that drove my dear Kitia into sockpuppetry. I asked him, and he said that he is sorry for every bad thing he did, though that amounts very little of which has been done against him. And me, as I am unjustly blocked as a result of being his brother. And User:Ryoung122, and User:S-man, and plenty of others whom Kitia and I cannot think of or we do not know. Of anything you, who can still edit pages, can do I would very much appreciate the help, be it unblocking, unprotecting, fighting corruption, even you reading this and responding is a pleasure. What is your New Year's resolution? My user account (talk) 04:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Nat, could you please provide a reason? I really can't get why some Wikipedians don't believe me and don't give Kitia a second chance. My user account (talk) 19:11, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- The mess you've been making in Sealand articles would suggest you're an unlikely candidate for saving Wikipedia, even if it does need help (which it does)... --kingboyk (talk) 23:00, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- How could the Sealand stuff be cruft? It is sourced and it is for an actual country. Please elaborate. My user account (talk) 23:18, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
editHello My user account! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 580 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Margaret Kenyatta - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
