editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Swire Hotels. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Meters (talk) 04:06, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
Hello, Mystery person. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Swire Hotels, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.:You appear to be the same editor as user:Swirehotels intern , in which you have a conflict of interest in writing about this chain. Changing your username does nothing to eliminate the conflict of interest.}} Meters (talk) 04:08, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Swire Hotels, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Meters (talk) 04:18, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 04:21, 27 June 2017 (UTC) |
- You appear to have a huge COI. There is no way the COI template should be removed. I wouldn't have added all of those templates, but many of them certainly do apply. This is one of the reasons we ask people with conflicts of interest not to edit articles in which they have a conflict of interest. Meters (talk) 04:22, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
