Proposed deletion of Chicago Wrestling

The article Chicago Wrestling has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This isn't an organization, it's an essay about wrestling in Chicago, violating WP:OR.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. was misplaced as that board is reserved for persistent vandalism. The article Chicago Wrestling was deleted because it did not comply with encyclopedic style of wikipedia and presented an essay rather than a concise document on an organization, event or alike. Perhaps it could have named History of wrestling in Chicago, but even then, it should be specific on the style of wrestling, avoid essay style and contain inline references to reliable sources.
