Confirmation of my request for usurpation
editThis is to confirm that a request has been made at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations to usurp the username Nabak. --NabakNabak (talk) 22:23, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Patriot of Ukraine
editYes, and I'm going to check it out tomorrow, thanks.
As you mentioned, the mainstream media are all using erroneous terminology. We have to use the mainstream terminology but we can point out the error in a footnote.
Can you take care of that task at Right Sector? --Dervorguilla (talk) 01:24, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- That would be my pleasure! :) By the way, I wanted to share these interesting photos with you:
- Vladislav Goranin, a leader of the mysterious "White Hammer" [1] and Anton Bondarenko, his second in command [2], all from [3]
- The XXYII congress of the UNA-USO in Kiev on March 22, 2014 that also served as the first congress of a new party - the "Right Sector". [4] (Not to overlook the late Oleksandr Muzychko - [5]) who reportedly delivered a fiery speech there.) Please note, that while the Ukrainian National Assembly morphed into the Right Sector, its paramilitary wing, the Ukrainian National Self Defence, better known as UNSO, as well as the Tryzub named after Stepan Bandera, which was an affiliated member of the Ukrainian National Assembly, both continue to function. UNSO and Tryzub are registered with the authorities as civic associations. Best, --Nabak (talk) 02:12, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Cool! Is the info about UNA and UNSO available on a site that's not self-published? --Dervorguilla (talk) 03:30, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Glad you liked it! Actually, not much written about the congress itself, just some short mentions in the Ukrainian media: UNA voted to change its name and elected Dmytro Yarosh as its chairman. I don't think that it is completely correct. You can see that two sets of people are presiding at the beginning, and near the end. At first, Oleksandr Muzychko sits in the audience, later - on the podium. So, this all looks more like a party take over by the young and the restless! We will hear more of them, no doubt! P.S. There is another interesting group of Ukrainian radicals - the so-called Spilna Sprava which means "Common Cause". They are not hardened nationalists, rather leftists and quasi-anarchists. If the members of the Patriot of Ukraine are all youngsters, these are nearly all grown-ups:

Trident website
editThanks for the info. Note that the site was last modified around September 2012.[6] Interesting item: It seems that Yarosh resigned as Commander in Chief of Trident around September 2010; he was succeeded by Andrew Stempitskomu.[7] --Dervorguilla (talk) 05:18, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Dervorguilla: Yes, indeed, they take the notion that rolling stones gather no moss very seriously! Regarding Andriy Stempitski as Chief Commander of Trizub, your are completely right. Here in an interview stamped December 30, 2010 (See: [8]) Yarosh confirms that he is not in command for "nearly two months". One more source: [9]. The Ukranian wiki places the commanding officers of Trizub in the following order:
- Vasil Ivanishin, the founding father (1993-1996)
- Dmitro Yarosh (1996-1999)
- Evgeny Fil (1999-2005)
- Dmitro Yarosh (2005-2012)
- Andriy Stempitski (Стемпіцький, Андрій Любомирович) (2012- )
That should be corrected. Best, --Nabak (talk) 20:24, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
Translation request
editI've got a short (100-word) document that I'm having trouble translating. E-mail me and I can send you the Word file; or I can send as inline text. I'd be very grateful for your help! --Dervorguilla (talk) 03:57, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, and inline text would be fine! Best, --Nabak (talk) 02:12, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
AFD
editHi Nabak,
Please read WP:AFDHOWTO on how to correctly nominate articles,
Thank you, –Davey2010 • (talk) 22:09, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Read it, what's wrong?--Nabak (talk) 22:11, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- You haven't followed it that's what's wrong!, Also When you create the afd you need to provide a reason - A redlinked afd is useless, Thanks. –Davey2010 • (talk) 22:12, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Namely? --Nabak (talk) 22:15, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- ? Anyway please follow WP:AFDHOWTO carefully as as I've said you've not done it correctly, Every step should be followed :) Thanks –Davey2010 • (talk) 22:19, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Please do enlighten me! :) And you did not answer my question that I left on your page: "How it feels to be a Wikipedia vandal by removing deletion notices?" --Nabak (talk) 22:22, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Removing malformed AFD notices isn't vandalism .... It's common sense. –Davey2010 • (talk) 22:29, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Please do leave this page and return to the communication circles where calling somebody a "fucking idiot" is considered as normal behavior. It is certainly not viewed as such here! --Nabak (talk) 23:16, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Nabak - if your AFD is a redlink, there's no way for a deletion discussion to take place, hence the reason that Davey2010 removed it. Unless you read this page, there's not much help that we're able to do for you. Dusti*Let's talk!* 04:14, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
