[Train-the-Trainer 2019] Applications open

Hello, I am happy to inform you that the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) 2019 programme is going to be organised by CIS-A2K on 31 May, 1 & 2 June 2019.

What is TTT?
Train the Trainer or TTT is a residential training program to groom leadership skills among the Indian Wikimedia community members. Earlier TTT was conducted in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Who should apply?

  • Any active Wikimedian contributing to any Indic language Wikimedia project (including English) is eligible to apply.
  • An editor must have 600+ edits on Zero-namespace till 31 March 2019.
  • Anyone who has the interest to conduct offline/real-life Wiki events.
  • Note: anyone who has already participated in an earlier iteration of TTT, cannot apply.

[SVG Translation Campaign 2019 India] Feedback survey

Many thanks for participating in the SVG Translation Campaign 2019 in India. It had been quite a successful campaign—194 users from 19 Indic languages took part in the campaign for 38 days, and have created more than 2,500 SVG files, all of them having labels in native Indian languages. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
