editUnblock disabled open proxy
edit- (Non-administrator comment) I'm not too familiar with proxies, and I'm not a member of Wikiproject open proxies, but it does not appear possible to connect to that IP on port 8080 as the blocking bot said. --L235 (talk) As a courtesy, please ping me when replying. 12:36, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- You seem to be editing just fine; I've deactivated the template above. Kuru (talk) 15:34, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- I don't have any control over which address is used, but my ISP seems to be loadbalancing between that address and another one, but I can't be sure if they'll keep this system or just switch to the blocked IP address. I would very much appreciate it if the address was unblocked as I've been effectively lobbying for it for almost a week now! I readded it. – Nahiyan8 (talk | contribs) 15:45, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- I see; give me a sec to look at it. Kuru (talk) 16:21, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- I don't see any open proxies at that IP. Five open ports; nothing fishy except 8291. Can't connect to any of them including the filtered 8080. I've removed the block from that IP per your request. Kuru (talk) 16:29, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

Attacks on atheists in Bangladesh
editI think you might be interested in improving Attacks on atheists in Bangladesh. nafSadh did say 17:04, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, just wanted to add, I've merged more content from Washiqur Rahman Babu to Attacks on atheists in Bangladesh. Do you think this has enough depth about reactions to Washiqur Rahman Babu's death? Some of the articles written about his killing also mentioned Avijit Roy, and I think they fit well as a response to not just his killing, but various attacks on secular writers. -- Aronzak (talk) 20:53, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Aronzak: Thanks, it's a really good summary. I'm just concerned that no one has yet included any details about the Oyasiqur lawsuits/criminal case! The summary however is pretty fine but it could use some pictures though. We really need some pictures here and there but the copyright situation is confusing I think. I'm confused how foreign media are able to use photographs but not us... there is probably an industry practice here. So most important needs here, I would say, is more detail on the following criminal case, DMP suspicions of links of the killers of Avijit and Oyasiqur, and more photos. Though I don't think it has much depth in the Oyasiqur section, it looks too focused on the response. Thanks though. – Nahiyan8 (talk | contribs) 22:18, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
