Raw Leiba unsourced info
editPlease stop re-adding a "net worth" to Raw Leiba without an independent reliable source. Please read WP:BLPSOURCES, which states "contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced should be removed immediately and without discussion". -Lopifalko (talk) 10:14, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

editHello Nancy O'Dell. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Raw Leiba, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nancy O'Dell. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nancy O'Dell|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 16:46, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Raw Leiba, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 16:53, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
Not paid I'm a profession journalist and I use my real name I'm not like the others I can be looked up.. that being said I have a source I just don't know how to attach it if you can help me with that Nancy O'Dell (talk) 16:58, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- If you are claiming to be Nancy O'Dell I will have to request that you submit an email info-en@wikimedia.org to ensure Ms. O'Dell is not being impersonated. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. — Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 17:07, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi Nancy O'Dell! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. — Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 17:29, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username.
If you choose to keep your current username, please send an email to info-en wikimedia.org including your real name and your Wikipedia username to receive instructions from our volunteer response team about account verification. Please do not send documentation without being requested to do so.
If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our username policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you wish for your existing contributions to carry over under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" from their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a change of name request.
- Your requested new username cannot already be in use. Therefore, please check the list here to see if a name is taken prior to requesting a change of name.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
