2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull (Concurrent Worldwide Volcanic Activity)
editHello Nasser z.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, however I suggest that you think carefully before adding large sedtions of text such as [this] edit. This was removed (not by me) as it was not particularly relevant to the subject of the article. Secondly, you added it without an edit summary. I see you have now reverted the removal. I tend to agree with Eroicides that it is interesting but not overly relevant, as the article is specifically about Eyjafjallajökull. Perhaps it only needs to be trimmed down? and relevant parts combined into the existing "Comparison to other recent eruptions" section? I also seen that you have left a message to discuss it with Eroicides, so I will leave it to you.
With this [edit] you added some material about the effects on farming. However I was concerned that some of it, specifically the reference to ash "more than 10 cm thick" was apparently not supported by the reference you used. This is a problem as Wikipedia sets very high store on verifiability. (I'm not sure if the text really belongs in the section ["Analysis"] you put it in either). It also needed to be re-written [here] to correct the grammar. Another editor has also corrected the reference to Wikipedia standards (See wp:Citing sources).
I hope you are not offended by my comments (see Assume Good Faith) as I am only trying to assist you. Even though I am 'only' an anonymous IP I have been editing for over 7 months and know my way around. See [here]. Let me know I if can help. Happy Editing! --220.101.28.25 (talk) 13:06, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:53, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
