Warning problematic editors
editHi Natalie. Thank you for your AIV report, but unless the user being reported is engaging in very obvious and offensive behaviour (stuff like making racist or sexual comments) we'd normally expect to see a history of warnings on their talkpage before blocking them. They need to be properly warned to give them the opportunity to change their behaviour - it might not work that often, but we try to give everyone the same chance to become a good contributor.
If you're not sure about how to warn a user, you can use the templates at WP:WARN. For a first vandalism offence you could use {{subst:uw-vandalism1}}, which is a Level 1 warning. Subsequent offences can be given higher level warnings. Normally a Level 4 warning is needed before we block, though obviously this should be treated with common sense (particularly bad vandalism might warrant a Level 3 or 4 for the first offence, or even a Level 5 "only warning").
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. In the meantime I've added a templated warning to the IP editor's talk page. If they keep it up after another warning or two, you can re report at AIV and it's likely that they will be blocked. Hope this helps, EyeSerenetalk 13:09, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hi again, and thanks for your note. I'm not sure what you're getting at though (I'm sorry, I can be a bit dense at times!). The templated warning I gave that IP editor is for when someone has vandalised an article, you've removed their vandalism, and want to warn them not to do it again. The warning doesn't actually revert their edits itself, you still have to do that by hand. It's also a bit general and maybe some bits of the warning text won't actually apply which is why some editors prefer to give handwritten warnings like you first did. I tend to use the templates because it's so much quicker (if you didn't know, there's a tool called "Twinkle" that you can turn on in your preferences that lets you issue warnings and stuff with only a couple of clicks). Does that answer your question? If not, please let me know! Best, EyeSerenetalk 12:24, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hello. I saw that you filed another AIAV report. However, there are a a few problems with your report. First, you need to learn to issue warnings on user talk pages before reporting editors for vandalism. We will generally not act on a report unless the reported editor has received several warnings (usually four) and continues to make unconstructive edits. To warn a user, edit their talk page and start a new section with the month and year in the title (this helps us quickly assess the timeframe of recent warnings). Then you can type or paste a warning template onto the page and save your changes. For ordinary vandalism, it is accepted practice to issue a series of warnings or increasing severity using the following templates:
- {{subst:uw-vandalism1|article-name}} ~~~~
- {{subst:uw-vandalism2|article-name}} ~~~~
- {{subst:uw-vandalism3|article-name}} ~~~~
- {{subst:uw-vandalism4|article-name}} ~~~~
- where "article-name" should be replaced with the title of the article. These will expand to standard warning messages when saved. The "~~~~" will sign and date the warning.

- For example, "{{subst:uw-vandalism2|List of General Hospital cast members}}" would issue a level-2 warning relating to the List of General Hospital cast members article. The WP:WARN page contains a list of other messages for more specific problems such as removal of content or lack of sources. I recommend that you give the template a try by going to the WP:Sandbox, pasting the following text, and saving your changes.
== August 2010 == {{tlx|subst:uw-vandalism2|List of General Hospital cast members}} ~~~~
- Also, please use edit summaries when you edit an article - especially when you are reverting another contributor's edit. We are not mind readers and we are not going to spend an inordinate amount of time sifting through the edits to figure out what is going on. You need to give us a clue. "Reverting vandalism" is sufficient if the vandalism is obvious. Other valid reasons may be "factual errors", "unsourced speculation", "spelling" or anything else to give us and other editors an idea why you made the edit. Without such summaries, it is very difficult to assess what is happening in the article.
- If you follow the above guidelines and an editor continues disruptive behavior after several warnings, you may again file a report at WP:AIAV. Thank you. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 23:20, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
AIV report
editDear Natalie, please stop filing reports at AIV against those editors in the 71.250.144.60 range. I left you a message here, explaining why I denied your request for a block. It is clear that 'vandalism' is not easy to define in that awful article, and it is equally clear (from your talk page also) that administrators are unlikely to act on those reports. Please stop, before an admin decides that these false charges of vandalism take up too much time and are causing disruption. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:07, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Just wanted to say....
editthank you for helping on the List of General Hospital cast members. That person keeps creating users and IPs to insist Lisa Niles is returning. Briana Brown is already on a pilot for ABC, so she's not coming back. Nor do I see the series recasting again. I've talked to someone about getting the IP blocked, again. And to see if the page can be protected, yet again! MusicFreak7676 TALK! 22:17, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Kristen Alderson's new character
editIt says Lauren "Kiki" Jerome on the Kristen Alderson article. Check it out. P.J. (talk) 13:37, 14 May 2013 (UTCA)
Do you know who RH is playing on GH yet? P.J. (talk) 21:27, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- No, they're keeping it really secret. Natalie47 (talk) 22:17, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Natalie I'm going to take a guess at this, RH is playing Robert Frank aka Kristen's Dad on the show again. For one we all know Katherine is really Lauren Frank. This is just me taking a huge guess at this, her last name is Jerome, and Ava mentioned that she had one daughter, than Kiki shows up, and we all know that's Ava's daughter, hello? RH is playing Mr. Robert Frank. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. P.J. (talk) 04:06, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- When did Ava say she only had one daughter? It may not take a genius to guess that that's what's going on, but you can't say with 100% certainty that you're right. Natalie47 (talk) 12:51, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
I'm not saying I'm 100% right. This is just my guess or my prediction if you will. But KA comes on during the Lauren Frank storyline as Katherine Jerome, now Katherine could be an alias that she uses. She plays Maura West's daughter on the show, Ava said she has a daughter while she was talking to Luke Spencer. She could have more than one daughter, but I highly doubt it. I could be 100% wrong, but this is my guess at what's going to happen. I would like to hear your prediction on what's going to happen. I wanna know if you agree with me. You know RH's character had something to do with the poisoned relish at The Chew. But the question is why? Maybe becuz he's Robert Frank. Look these are just my predictions, I'm talking to you as a fellow GH fan. I could be wrong, and I could be right. I've been wrong with GH before. P.J. (talk) 22:25, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- True, if he's not Franco, I'm not sure who else he would be. But I don't know why they would bring Franco back when he would mostly likely go straight to prison. It's hard to keep a villain around once that villain has been busted for his crimes. Natalie47 (talk) 23:53, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
James Franco did an awesome job as Franco, but I think RH's new character whoever might he be would add some humor into it. Natalie it makes perfect sense that he's Franco, but true, he would go to prison, and the 3 actors signed a contract with ABC. Of course they could pull off the plastic surgery storyline which would explain the recast. How much do you wanna bet that Silas Clay is really Stephen Clay? P.J. (talk) 00:29, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Natalie I was right, I told you Roger Howarth was Robert Frank, I was so right. I kinda figured it out before but wasn't sure. Now I know. P.J. (talk) 04:32, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Anthony Montgomery aka Andre Maddox
editAnthony Montgomery returned in February 2018 and March 2019 correct. But I think they were just guest appearances, I don't think he should be listed as a recurring cast member for a guest appearance. P.J. (talk) 05:38, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- "Recurring" doesn't mean on for a set amount of time. It can mean someone who makes occasional appearances, like Kimberly McCullough. Either way, there is a history of editors removing people from the list without a source, and it needs to stop. You can't make edits just because you feel they're right.
