Lecca

I was going to start a page on a Japanese artist, Lecca, but saw you deleted a page with this name earlier, asserting the topic is insignificant. I don't quite understand this, since the page does exist in the Japanese wikipedia, and the verdict of "insignificance" seems a bit random. Do you have any further (more clarifying :)) comments regarding this? Erik (talk) 19:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. Sorry about the misquotation. I'll have a go. Erik (talk) 20:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Flags

This and this. In the context of the article, there's no good reason for the flags. Cheers.++Arx Fortis (talk) 21:57, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Advice!

Thanks for the advice! But next time please put messages below my talk page header. SimpsonsFan08 (talkcontribs) 17:21, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, Could you help me on formatting the header? SimpsonsFan08 (talk) 17:25, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your help anyway SimpsonsFan08 (talk) 17:34, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I have taken the article to AfD. He simply doesn't meet WP:MUSIC. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 20:58, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

sorry - but why did you speed delete this article - it was the start and i wanted to write more detailed stuff - it's one of the most influencing electronic music labels of germany, and if you are not in music-stuff very much, i think, you have not the authority to delete it without discussion ... so please: publish it again and see what i am writing there - thanks kazie —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kazie-en (talkcontribs) 11:04, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

hi natalie - i saw in the google html cache, that the article was modified in a "advertise style way" since i created it. so i understand why you deleted it. but this was never my intention ... but it would be nice, if i could continue the work ... thanks kazie —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.189.171.20 (talk) 13:59, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

User you blocked

You blocked 208.182.113.2 for persistent vadalism for 24 hours, and this user is at it again now. FYI Dustitalk to me 19:11, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Don't take this the wrong way

But I do not respect your comments about me. It is clear that you just went with the flow and did not question what was going on. In any event I would like to hear that you overreacted and maybe a sorry. Please note this is not a personal attack, I am writting this because I am upset with your actions. I'm sure the best thing all of us could do regarding the Fuck controversy is just let it go. Hounding for answers isn't helping anybody move on. I know comments are being deleted. Sometimes it's easier just not to care... -- Longhair\talk 04:35, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Attempted to answer on user's talk page, but ignored. How polite. Natalie (talk) 11:55, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
I feel the same way. The editor cannot simply dismiss everything that lands on their talk page as nonsense and delete accordingly. That said, leaving it be seems to be the best outcome for everyone. Pushing the issue isn't resolving anything, and hasn't for the past two hours. Thanks for the reply. Tomorrow is another day :) -- Longhair\talk 04:44, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Request on my talk

RE User_talk:Hu12#Help_with_spam_blacklist.3F. Hi Natalie, All done. Both were added per your request. If you need anything else let me know, thanks.--Hu12 (talk) 12:30, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Amanda Baggs and Donna Williams (author)

Hi, Natalie; thanks for your patient work at Amanda Baggs. I just don't have time to keep up with it. The same editor(s) (I'm wondering if a checkuser is in order) is doing similar at the talk page of Donna Williams. In that case, it is a reliable source, so it's not a BLP issue, but the situation there is copyright (copying the entire source). And, I don't think this campaign is going to let up, rather move from article to article. Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:02, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, Natalie; I haven't even been able to get through my morning watchlist yet, because of appto (talk · contribs)'s disruption, and it's afternoon here. S/he continues to disrupt at both talk pages, and deleted my warnings from his/her talk page. Is also deleting talk page posts at both articles. Help needed; I'm not an admin. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:04, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks again, rough start to two days in a row. Sheesh, really puts me behind on the things I need to do. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:18, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Appto/Bettwice33

Thanks for all your work yesterday. Regarding the WP:ANI discussion on puppetry vs. collaboration, this is relevant: [1]. - DaveSeidel (talk) 14:40, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Wendy Williams (radio host)

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Wendy Williams (radio host), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Coretta Scott King

Hi Natalie. I saw the conversation with the user that wanted to know why there is no mention of her Native American heritage. I really feel for this person because he/she seemed so frustrated that it's not mentioned. Do you have any idea on a possible source? Have a good day.Mcelite (talk) 02:58, 14 March 2008 (UTC)mcelite

Yeah I understand. It is very difficult to find the ethnic background on alot of people that are considered African American. It's a harsh reality but it's luck just find out if they do have another ethnic background besides African American even more luck if the tribe they are descent of is mentioned.lolMcelite (talk) 16:29, 14 March 2008 (UTC)mcelite

Weird hijinks

I've become really frustrated trying to get anyone to listen to me about this The Lemmick unit in the sin (talk · contribs) nonsense. It's hugely complex, involving tons of socks and IPs, and possibly multiple people playing games with each other. The first times I filed complains to AN/I, I was told it was "too stale". The next time, (just last wek or so) I was ignored outright. I think basically that nobody wants to bother with it, even though disruption on a grand scale is going on. Maybe since you've noticed it too someone will finally do something. Or maybe we should file a sockpuppet report or something. Stupid bureaucracy. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 16:33, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I just noticed now that you're an admin! Good to see one of you took notice of this. Let me know if you want the other IPs and socks that I know of (or at least the ones I can remember). Nobody of Consequence (talk) 16:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Okay, get ready for the list... (FYI, it looks like one or two are already blocked for other stuff. I don't know if he's deliberately trying to inflate his sock count to build up his troll-cred or what but most, if not all, of the "an editor has expressed a concern that this is a sock puppet of..." notices were placed by the socks/IPs themselves on each others pages.

Some socks:

Some IPs:

Geenrally, I find that I can dig up a constantly growing number of socks and IPs by just looking at the contributions of each of the socks/IPs as I come across them. Pretty linear, for someone with a great deal of patience. Ugh. I also think it's time for a community permaban of Elspeth Monro. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 17:53, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

I have inserted the dates of last edits of each of those accounts, as far as available to non-admins. It appears that whatever he's editing under lately is probably something else. — Rickyrab | Talk 21:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Becky Fisher

Sorry my reference to Becky Fisher was deemed inappropriate (I referred to her comments re: sin of overeating and the conflict w/ her fatassedness). I thought this was ok as it referred to a possible legitimate conflict between her words, the subject of which meshed w/ the wikipedia article, and her acts, her apparent gluteny.

I guess its not ok to use 'fatassedness' on discussion pages? I thought this would be ok if not in the actual article, and only in the informal, non authoritative chat? You can't refer to people as fat in the discussion pages? Or you can't refer to them w/ informal coloquialisms, fatassedness, in the discussion pages? I didn't edit the actual article.

kthxby 65.185.93.86 (talk) 01:58, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

ok thx, so I can call her obese or whatnot, as long as properly sourced and relevant, correct? 65.185.93.86 (talk) 23:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Irish Wiktionary

Hello Natalie Erin.

I'd like to inform you about an impostor on the Irish Wiktionary who's chosen your name. If you'd like to usurp this account please contact me or another steward. Kind regards, —DerHexer (Talk) 00:17, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Natalie. I don't think that it's a coincidence. The same IP created accounts on ga:wp and ga:wikt. They're all blocked now because an impostor on pih:wp has even vandalized. It's maybe the same user who stalked Alison and forced her to request the removal of her rights. Regards, —DerHexer (Talk) 13:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Because there's no crat on wikt:ga I'd be allowed to rename your account. Do you want to create it on your own (with the risk that it'd be impersonated again which happened to my account on simple) or shall I do it and send you the password? —DerHexer (Talk) 14:24, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Okay, done. I've used a 128 bit strong password to create the account. If you want to use it please contact me again. Regards, —DerHexer (Talk) 14:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

FYI

I think you're the right person to talk to. I just wanted to let you know that User:Bettwice33 has a new website - and he may try to use this new location to linkspam Wikipedia now that his blog has been blacklisted, probably via a sock account if his IP wasn't blocked. If it was it may be a meat puppet (User:Appto may be worth watching for that). As you know he has demonstrated a clear refusal to obey WP:CIVIL as well as WP:RS in order to push a personal agenda that has no mainstream back up despite his claims to the contrary. Hopefully I'm wrong and nothing comes of this, but just in case. GetDumb 06:18, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

I can't email you unfortunately because I don't have an addy that works right now. So I've hidden it here->. GetDumb 04:20, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Must be down. I'll keep an eye on it. GetDumb 21:00, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
It's OK now, Natalie. Looks like someone has taken the site off him. LOL! GetDumb 05:43, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
