Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Christina Aguilera, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Spellcast 00:00, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Christina Aguilera discography. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. Spellcast 01:49, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Christina Aguilera discography

edit

I noticed you've been changing the record sales of Christina Aguilera. I know up to date album sales are hard to find, but Wikipedia can only use the most reliable sources available. Now the source cited for the Back to Basics sales is dated September 2006. Now it has obviously sold more since then, but we can only use the latest figures from the most reliable sources, otherwise it's original research. (And apologies for the previous warning, I'm not sure what I did there :S) Spellcast 20:34, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, those recording dates you added is valid because it used a good source. I think it was removed because an editor was reverting unsourced sales and your edit must've got removed in the process. Anyway, the article now shows the right dates, but remember that unsourced album sales will likely be removed. It's too bad that SoundScan don't release their info publicly.
