My first "Talk Page"
editThis is going to be my first Wikipedia "Talk Page" entry. My talk page will not actually contribute to any information. Do not come here looking for informationNathaniel Hamm (talk) 20:02, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, Nathaniel! Welcome to Wikipedia! Just for your information, your talk page is actually for communication with other editors who would like to talk to you, so it's pretty much only here for users "looking for information," and it's not really a diary as you seem to be treating it with the above message. — {{u|Bsoyka}} talk 20:36, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Ok. Thank you. I am new to Wikipedia and do not know all the regulations. I will note that. Thanks, again. Nathaniel Hamm (talk) 15:05, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- Not a problem at all! Everyone starts somewhere. Feel free to ask on my talk page or in the Teahouse if you ever have any more questions. — {{u|Bsoyka}} talk 16:09, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Bsoyka You have been very helpful. Thank you very much. :) Nathaniel Hamm (talk) 15:10, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

Your sandbox
editOne more thing: I noticed your sandbox. As mentioned when the draft was rejected, that topic isn't quite suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, nor does it cite any reliable sources. Do you still plan on working on this draft? If so, to be quite honest, you probably shouldn't. If not, you can request it be speedily deleted. — {{u|Bsoyka}} talk 20:44, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Now I know that it won't be added to Wikipedia, I most likely won't be editing it further. May I have it speedily deleted, if you don't mind. Thank you for the help Bsoyka. Nathaniel Hamm (talk) 15:07, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- I requested for an admin to delete it soon. In the future, for cases like this, you can add
{{db-userreq}}
to the top of the page to nominate it for speedy deletion under the same criteria. — {{u|Bsoyka}} talk 16:18, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Nathaniel Hamm/sandbox
editA tag has been placed on User:Nathaniel Hamm/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Rejected at AfC, not notable (A7), deletion requested on author talk page (U1)
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — {{u|Bsoyka}} talk 16:17, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

How do I make a page?
edit@Bsoyka
I was wondering if you could send me a link to the place where you make a page. I am looking to experiment outside of my sandbox. I do not expect them to get posted on Wikipedia. Thank you.Nathaniel Hamm (talk) 15:01, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hey! There is a very helpful guide for article creation at H:YFA. However, I wouldn't recommend creating an article/draft if the draft is about a subject that doesn't meet our notability guidelines, is contrary to the purpose of the encyclopedia, or is just a test. (By the way, to ping me, you can use
{{Reply to|Bsoyka}}
; just adding@Bsoyka
in the text won't work automatically.) Bsoyka (talk) 16:30, 22 March 2022 (UTC)- @Bsoyka: Thank you for all of your help. You have been very helpful. :) Nathaniel Hamm (talk) 19:18, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
