Washington
Re [1], good revert, it was North Carolina that made the midshipman cruise, not Washington. —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 04:03, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, I knew I hadn't read it anywhere, plus uncited. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs 04:06, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Just remember that uncited does not always equate with not true. :) —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 04:34, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Well, that's what triggered the red flag. Quick googling revelted the truth :) NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs 04:38, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

thank you for notification
Thank you for notifying me on my talk page about Lawrence Romo. I was a bit surprised at his answer. I would have thought he would have given a polished answer or some bullshit answer but it seems like he's getting all the aid that he needs so he said "nothing more can be done" (paraphrasing it). That's why I submitted the entry (it's a decent...no, I didn't know). JB50000 (talk) 04:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
RE: Kirishima
Excellent! Kirishima is a bit down my list (I want to finish the default battlecruiser page and Haruna first), but I will definitely let you know when I get to it. Cam (Chat) 07:14, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Mo Tae-Bum
Hello! Your submission of Mo Tae-Bum at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Marylanderz (talk) 17:08, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Mo Tae-Bum
I removed information because it did not seem important enough for the article and the significance of it was not explained. I tagged the article for cleanup because it is poorly written and put together and appears to have been written by someone with a poor command of English. Copyedit request for Pocheon
Hi, NativeForeigner (always having thought of it as a cool moniker). If you have a time, could you copyedit Pocheon for me? As adding info about Mo Tae-Bum, I felt the article of the "city" with a 160,000 population needed to be expanded, so I did. However, I think the article terribly needs copyediting from native English speakers, so you're chosen. :-) Of course, you can turn down my request. Regards.--Caspian blue 20:58, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks very much. You did the job beautifully. The article is much better in shape right now. :-) --Caspian blue 01:50, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Products manufactured in Australia and New Zealand
I've cut out all content in Products Manufactured in Australia and New Zealand which I think may express my opinion. There isn't much left, but there is some content, and I strongly believe the topic is more encyclopaedic than many in Wikipedia (like an individual pop star, song or movie). Feel free to cut out anything you think sounds like a list or an essay, but please don't push to delete the page outright. LachlanA (talk) 02:56, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Main page and NOTCENSORED
Hey NativeForeigner, regarding the discussion at WT:DYK#Childish issues again, I just wanted to let you know (somewhat in retrospect) that my comment about NOTCENSORED may not necessarily reflect community-wide consensus about how that policy should be implemented, so don't be surprised if you hear something different from someone else or if some people totally disagree with that interpretation. I happen to believe pretty strongly that the main page should have different guidelines than the encyclopedia in general, but not everyone believes that.
For further background, back in June I tried to start a discussion at WT:NOT about rewording NOTCENSORED to specify that it doesn't apply to the main page the same way as it does to article space. That discussion got derailed by not-quite-relevant comments before it really got anywhere, but it does at least include some links (and links to links) to past DYK discussions similar to the one going on right now. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 02:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

User talk:Wexeb and rollbacks
Could you please take a look at recent edits to Gary Busey and tell me if I am vandalising by replacing text removed, that made the page make no sense? User Wexeb does not appear to look at edits before rolling back - only relying on "references removed" before accusing people of vandalism. Then Wexeb just removed my question on their page before answering me. Thank you. Trista 24.176.191.234 (talk) 20:51, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- You and I were on my talk page at the same time about my name, Triste Tierra. I am so rarely at home, and not awake enough to edit when there, that I cannot imagine ever being accused of sockpuppeting. I try hard not to do that, even though it can be tempting when dealing with a vandal. But since I do not want to violate the rules, even for good, I don't.
Thank you for your help with the rollback issue, I do appreciate it. Trista (Triste Tierra - cannot log in at work) 24.176.191.234 (talk) 02:58, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- That's fine, just want to make it all above the surface. Best of luck :) NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs 03:03, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
