AfD closes
editWhy are you closing so many AfDs in quick succession? I think you're going too fast. Some of your closes probably shouldn't have been done:
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji (2nd nomination) should not have been closed as keep: It has two !votes for delete and two for keep.
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2024 visits by Viktor Orbán to Russia and China has clear consensus for a merge. At the very least, it should've been relisted.
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Emperor Geezy should have been relisted or closed as keep.
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Denmark (3rd nomination) should just have been relisted.
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe Biden's July 2024 press conference has only one vote for keep so a no-consensus close is unhelpful; it should have been relisted.
Please slow down. Also, if you're doing a non-admin closure, make sure to mark your close with Template:NAC. Thank you. C F A 💬 20:13, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- And for the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe Biden's July 2024 press conference AfD, it certainly had consensus that the article shouldn't exist anymore, redirect or not; the people voting delete I'm sure weren't against it being merged into 2024 Washington summit, so saying there was "no consensus" is just incorrect. @CFA: okay I’ll consider that next time. Just trying to volunteer as all those were old discussions anyways. Nawiotr (talk) 20:20, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've reverted all of these. You clearly don't have enough experience to close AfDs as your first substantive edit. * Pppery * it has begun... 20:22, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- That's fine. I suggest starting somewhere else, though, so you can gain more experience first. The Task Center has lots of jobs you could try out. If you're interested in the project side of things, then maybe starting with votes instead of closes at AfD would be a good idea. C F A 💬 20:29, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
@CFA:
- Fine just be kind to leave a note here so I don’t have to start from scratch. Nawiotr (talk) 20:44, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- a new editor does not start with closing AfDs. Please log into your primary account and request unblock. Star Mississippi 02:36, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

editIf you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page:

. Star Mississippi 02:35, 20 July 2024 (UTC)- Note block evasion as Special:Contribs/Nawietr. I was inclined to assume good faith and was skeptical this block was really needed. Now you (Nawiotr) have blown it. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:45, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
