Speedy deletion nomination of Chinese Progressive Association

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chinese Progressive Association for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

Nomination of Chinese Progressive Association for deletion

This is being written longhand by a human. Sorry for the templates above, they are impersonal and come across as mean. Thank you very much for your work on Chinese Progressive Association. Despite all the hubbub and "templating," I think it is almost certain that there will be no deletion of the article and invite you to continue work on it. I will try to give it a half hour of my time tomorrow. I just wanted to let you know that things are not as dark as they seem; there's editing that remains to be done, but that's true with about 98% of the pieces on Wikipedia, so no particular worries there.
