Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article, not out of concerns about notability, but because it was excessively promotional. You need to rewrite it, avoiding adjectives and statements of how good his music is or how important he is culturally. Let the facts of his career show it. Remember to document the career by references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. Any language will do, but in not English, provide a translation of a key sentence. DGG ( talk ) 22:16, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

Remaining major problems:

1. Every statement of fact has to be referenced; if you want to say its the longest running commercial, you need a source for that.

2. Notability depends on whether the reviews are substantial. I haven't checked yet, since it require registering. The mere fact of performances or even recordings does not make for notability. DGG ( talk ) 04:00, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

So regarding the first point it would be better to say, for example "This commercial is still aired every Friday since its release" if no source is found? Most references consist of articles written in our national newspaper "De Ware Tijd van Suriname" (roughly translated: The True Time of Suriname) and are from the archive.
