Bold, Revert, Discuss

Hi, regarding [1], please take it to the article talk page and discuss, to see what other contributors think about it. But please read MOS:FORMULA ("...the community of mathematical editors of English Wikipedia currently has no consensus about preferred formatting...") and WP:CONSENSUS, in combination with WP:BRD. - DVdm (talk) 17:38, 4 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

@DVdm: Hi, too! I know but please consider the fact that there already was some math inline formatting (e. g. at the beginning) before. So I just tried to harmonize the formatting. Otherwise, one would have to remove all of the math inline formatting. So, you can go ahead if you like, but what we certainly don't want is a mishmash of both non-math and math formatting of mathematical expressions here, do we?!--Neufund (talk) 17:43, 4 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps, yes. Let's see what other contributors say on the article talk page... - DVdm (talk) 17:48, 4 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I have reverted an edit of yours on this article, and would like to remind you about WP:BRD. When your Bold edit has been Reverted by another editor, the recommended next step, if you continue to think the edit is necessary, is to Discuss the dispute on the article talk page with other editors, but not to re-revert it, which is the first step to edit warring, a disruptive activity which is not allowed. Discussion on the talk page is the only way we have of reaching consensus, which is central to resolving editing disputes in an amicable and collegial manner, which is why communicating your concerns to your fellow editors is essential. While the discussion is going on, the article generally should remain in the status quo ante until the consensus as to what to do is reached. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 20:05, 8 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Beyond My Ken: I left a comment on the talk page. Please comment there asap. Thank you--Neufund (talk) 20:21, 8 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
