I added a link to a poll showing that %41 of Americans believe Saddam Hussein is behin the 9/11 attacks. The formatting was flawed and I clicked on the revert link as the code got all wonky in my web browser. There is no vandalism in this. Neutralaccounting (talk) 19:30, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

At the start of the war in 2003 a majority of people in the U.S. believed that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks launched by al-Qaeda. . U.S. officials by 2004 emphathized that Iraq had in its possession weapons of mass destruction that posed a imminent threat to the security and interests of the United States, Europe and the other nations of the Middle East. The intelligence was supported by British intelligence . A year after the invasion the American President went on the record stating that there was a link between Saddam and al Qaeda

You should assume good faith. I've posted edits using Opera 6.0, the content of them is in the Talk page. It is my intention to post edits, not to blank the page. A controversial subject of history was responsible for torture and mass rape and infantcide on a grand scale. However, you try to keep that out of the article. That's not neutral POV- it's just white washing. Neutralaccounting (talk) 19:47, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Channel4-d.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Channel4-d.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. The news anchor in question is a woman who was the news anchor for the national television program from the now destroyed country of Tamil Elaam. As neither the country, nor the news program, nor the company that produced the news program, nor the anchor woman now exists all that remains is digital copies of their physical presence. As such there can be no claim of copyright restrictions on the use of this image as its copy by Channel4 does not grant them Copyright to this image. You can link to them. See [[2]] rule 9 and I quote "To prevent an image category from displaying thumbnails, add __NOGALLERY__ to it; images are linked, not inlined, from talk pages when they are a topic of discussion." So images can be linked to even if they are not displayed. Additionally In general, the rule for editing or deleting a comment that you or another editor has posted to an article talk page is simple: Don't. Neutralaccounting (talk) 02:10, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Delta has it right. This is a long-standing rule. If you want to refer to a non-free image on a talk page, you can do it by placing the usual link, adding a colon just after the leading square brackets. I encourage reaching common consensus on both the article and talk pages. However editing my posts rather then engaging in my invitation to discuss my change to the article page is not what is happening. I encourage you to read 'Wikipedia: The Missing Manual Collaborating_with_Other_Editors Communicating with Your Fellow Editors and in particular 'In general, the rule for editing or deleting a comment that you or another editor has posted to an article talk page is simple: Don't. That goes for fixing spelling errors, typos, run-on sentences, or any other minor wording changes, no matter how trivial. At Wikipedia, a talk page is essentially a transcript; no matter how well-intentioned you are in your editing, other editors aren't going to see it that way.'
