Welcome + Boxer pictures
editHi! Your boxer pictures are amazing! They are superb boxers! Both the male and female. The Wikimedia commons do not differ in its licensing than wikipedia. There are a few licenses available there that you could choose to use. There's one license that says that your picture is free to use, but that the user must acknowledge you, the author, whenever it uses it or creates a work derived from it. Maybe this licensing is sufficient for you. By the way, if you allowed those pictures [1][2] to be used, you certainly still owns rights for the higher-resolution versions you own, only the low resolutions you've posted are in the public domain, or under the chosen licensing of Wikimedia Commons. To summarize: you still got credits for the pictures, but you won't be able to prohibit its use in legal publications. I don't think this would harm any income you could hope to achieve with those pictures. Also your site would be listed as a source for the picture in wikipedia, and I think it is something very nice if I happened to have a champion like yours. See the licensing details that I think would be fine for you at: [Attribution-Share-Alike license and more information of licenses available at Creative commons license. After you make up your mind, please, talk to me :-) Loudenvier 20:39, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
