License tagging for Image:DC1000 Crop.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:DC1000 Crop.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:04, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Sabretoothmarkjones

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopaedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thank you. ww2censor 03:56, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Opabinia regalis 04:09, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I thought I'd make one more attempt, in non-template form. Your persistent reversions on Sabretoothmarkjones are inappropriate - as it stands the article is nonsense, as I'm sure you already know. If you can cite a source, that would be an argument for dealing with the article though a process other than speedy deletion. Voltech, where you have also reverted deletion tags, is an ad for a company and as such is inappropriate content for Wikipedia. If you persist in reverting deletion tags, you may be blocked for vandalism. Opabinia regalis 04:35, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you are unable to provide sources for this article then it does not belong here. There is not one Google hit, so obviously does not exist unless you can prove it does. Where is YOUR proof? Wikipedia requires verifiable information and I don't see you providing any at all - not even an attempt to prove what you claim. I suggest you read this page before you add anything else. ww2censor 04:36, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
YOU state that YOU know it is true, so prove that to us. Wikipedia requires verifiable information from reliable sources and you have failed to provide any source other than to say YOU know it is true. So prove it. Check out the links provided before removing tags in this page again. Soon an administrator is likely to block you for vandalism. ww2censor 04:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Ryulong 08:13, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Save my table

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Save my table, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Top Jim (talk) 22:20, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Voltech Instruments

edit

The article Voltech Instruments has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
