Your edits to Transgender people and religion

Hey there! Thanks for your edits to transgender people and religion :) for the time being, I've removed the text from the article, since there are a few things that need to be punched up before the text is ready by Wikipedia's standards:

  1. The text currently isn't citing very reliable sources. For something like this, I'd recommend looking in scholarly journals.
  2. Some of the writing reads more like an essay and less like an encyclopedic entry. First and foremost, remove any personal opinions from the text. Second, try and pick a specific thing to make each paragraph about and focus on it. Maybe one paragraph on the history of Sikhism and LGBT topics, one on current attitudes, etc.
