Editing etiquette

edit

Hi there Nigel Forest, when you edit on Wikipedia, it's considered good etiquette to leave an edit summary. The point is so that other editors know what you are doing, and why. For example, it would have been helpful with your Queenstown talk page edit to state that you are no longer assigned to that topic. Matthewvetter, I'm not sure whether that needs stressing when working with the students. Thanks, Nigel, and I hope you enjoy the experience. Schwede66 22:27, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you - yes we have been talking about the importance of edit summaries in class and I will continue to emphasize this. Thanks for your feedback @Schwede66 - we appreciate it. - DarthVetter (talk) 14:55, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
