Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Hater (Korn song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:47, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Nu metal

edit

The edits you made really weren't necessary at all. First off, many of the nu metal-influenced bands of the 2010s are metalcore, not just deathcore (this is sourced). As a compromise, I already kept some info you added onto the article but restored some of the stuff you removed. Don't remove sourced content. You can add some content as long as you have some good sources. But don't remove content that's already sourced. If you really feel there's something about the nu metal article that must be removed or something, then please tell me first. I am open to discussing things with you. Statik N (talk) 20:54, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Statik N, I am convinced he firmly believes that the deathcore and metalcore paragraphs should be separated, whereas you do not. This is what I believe happened in the last few edits. The sourced material he removed was mostly covered in the following paragraph. dannymusiceditor ~talk to me!~ 22:44, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of artists who reached number one on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart

edit

The article List of artists who reached number one on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited HBO Max, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages TBS and HLN (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Summer Camp Island; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 23:14, 31 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Miniseries

Put the section back. You called for a poll and you’re not even allowing any contest? That’s is beyond unfair and not in the spirit of discussion. Rusted AutoParts 20:50, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

What's beyond unfair is you and only you trying to force this, when no one else supports it, and it doesn't even make sense. Look at the other streamers. They don't need a Miniseries section. Only baseline HBO has one, and it doesn't have tables. In other words, it needs a section to indicate that. I'm not arguing against contest, as you say, I'm removing the section until further notice. If more people come in and argue in favor of it, then sure, restore it. But really, it has no reason to be there and should've been reverted ages ago, so I'm doing it unless more people besides you want it that way. Again, you're mostly good at what you add and helpful. But this just isn't it. Nights At Nyte (talk) 20:54, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

It isn’t unfair at all of me to put the section back when it’s still being debated whether it should be removed or not. That is not how a discussion works. The thing is question is whether to remove the section. You can’t remove the section before anyone even gets a chance to get their two cents in if they disagree, especially when your last comment was essentially “any objections?” I object yet you persist in keeping it gone. Please readd it until other voices are heard. Rusted AutoParts 21:00, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Uncited material: Shi (comics) and Brian Pulido

Hi. Please do not add uncited material to articles, as you did with this edit Shi, as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. I know you don't edit here that often, but since you've accumulated over 960 edits since 2015, you may have learned that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which editors learn to make here. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 20:19, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

edit

Your recent editing history at Soviet–Afghan War shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
