Speedy deletion nomination of Eight Ways

edit

A tag has been placed on Eight Ways requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I tagged the page for {{db-author}} (speedy delete at author's request) since you made the title wrong. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 09:56, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wrasse55

edit

Hi Nihil7, I was patrolling some of the old PUF nominations (I apologize about the long delay, but unfortunately there is a huge backlog here). Wikipedia has a requirement that any image first published elsewhere needs to have a statement of permission sent to the OTRS office. This is for your protection - it prevents someone from stealing an image from your website and claiming it as their own. In order to prevent File:Wrasse55.jpg from being deleted, please send a statement to permissions-en@wikipedia.org, stating (1) your real-world name, (2) that you are the photographer and copyright holder of this photo, and (3) affirming that you release the image under the GFDL and Creative Commons licenses shown on the description page. A sample statement that you can use is available at WP:COPYREQ. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you, --B (talk) 18:18, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

File:Wrasse55.jpg missing description details

edit
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 08:58, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
