First and foremost, upon reading the Wikipedia article, I checked mostly all the citations and saw that they were all from blogs or news articles. This makes me question the neutrality of the article. Nilanjana ray1994 (talk) 18:57, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Another thing that I noticed was that some of the paragraphs in the article had no citations, academic or not. This does not conform to the guidelines of the Wiki community.Nilanjana ray1994 (talk) 18:57, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Government and business rationale for using Big data

edit

Hi Nilanjana ray1994, and welcome to Wikipedia. You previously moved your sandbox page to the main article space at Government and business rationale for using Big data. However, because the page was empty, it has been nominated for deletion as a test page. I also restored your sandbox. If you do intend to write an article entitled Government and business rationale for using Big data, please add content soon, or you can create a "work-in-progress" page in the drafts space. Thanks! —Laoris (talk) 04:19, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I moved Government and Business rationale for use of big data back into your sandbox. It's still nowhere near ready to go "live". Please see pages 7-9 of the Editing Wikipedia brochure. And when you're sure that your work is read, please go through the checklist on page 15 carefully. You should have received a hard copy from your instructor, but just in case, I have linked to it above.

Before creating a new article, you should probably take a careful look at the current Big data article. I think that you might want to focus on improving that article instead of creating a new one. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:56, 27 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Government and Business Rationale for using Big Data

edit

The article Government and Business Rationale for using Big Data has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This a school essay, not an encyclopedia article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. It would have made sense to heed the warning above, alas. W Nowicki (talk) 23:44, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
