Speedy deletion of VDJ Tflexx

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page VDJ Tflexx has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appeared to be about a real person or group of people that did not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. firefly ( t · c ) 12:25, 18 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Your recent edit to List of Nigerian DJs appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. SuperMarioMan (Talk) 21:23, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding red-linked names to List of Nigerian DJs. Each entry on the list should have a separate biographical article demonstrating that person's notability. SuperMarioMan (Talk) 21:18, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Nimejnr. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nimejnr. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nimejnr|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Seraphimblade Talk to me 00:00, 31 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

agreed to this. now I understand {{paid|user=Nimejnr|employer=Tamunoomie/InsertName|client=VDJTflexx} Nimejnr (talk) 08:48, 31 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
That is the correct template, but you will need to put it on your user page (User:Nimejnr), without the nowiki tag, not here. You will also need to follow our conflict of interest policy, which includes not directly editing mainspace. If you are creating an article for pay, you must create it as a draft and request review by articles for creation, not just place it directly in mainspace. If editing an existing article, suggest an edit on the talk page, and use {{request edit}} so that an editor without a COI can review your suggestion.
