Speedy deletion of Hogwarts Online

A tag has been placed on Hogwarts Online requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. I was not the editor who tagged this article for speedy deletion. I did examine it after the initial editor tagged it, and agreed to delete it. You may not be aware of this, but a similar article on this website had already been created and deleted before, after some debate. I agreed with the present nominator and the prior discussants: this website, among the many millions on the Internet, is simply not notable enough to have its own Wikipedia article. I'm not anti-Hogwarts (I think I'd make a decent Hufflepuff, with a touch of Ravenclaw), or anti-RPG for that matter (my first professional sales were to Dragon magazine). But there is nothing about the website that meets our requirements of notability. I hope that this does not discourage you from continuing to contribute to the Wikipedia project.
