Circus Amok

edit

I saw your comment on the clowns juggling image. I really liked it too, and thought I would hate the circus for all the usual reasons. It changed my opinion. I have more photos of the act on Jennifer Miller and Stilt walker. --DavidShankBone 15:07, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ally indeed. We must have been at the same show. Anyone who loved that show is a comrade-in-arms. Things that make me reconsider long-held beliefs or feelings stay with me a long time, and my distaste for circus art was one of the strongest. Who knew. Glad you are here on the 'Pedia. Drop me a line anytime, comrade. ☺ Dave --DavidShankBone 00:35, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I didn't add the "emo" label to that. I just did some tidying to the paragraph about Projekt Revolution :) Niall Jackson 20:34, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (music) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

Notability of Blitzkid

edit

A tag has been placed on Blitzkid requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 15:38, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the fact that Blitzkid has played at some of the largest festivals in Europe, as well as appearing in several notable publications is indication enough of their notability. They've had articles on Wikipedia before, and those have only been deleted due to copyright infringement from their own website. --Nishad (talk) 00:30, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
