Hello, I'm Renewal6. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to NorthCap University have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Renewal6 (talk) 10:15, 6 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to NorthCap University. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Hi, The edits i made are totally of my opinion and not the promotional activity as those edits are just made to let people know the true and authentic information about the NorthCap University and not for the purpose of promotion. So i request you to pls do not undo the page and let the information reflect on wikipedia because it is just for the reading say nothing else 203.115.107.76 (talk) 03:12, 7 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I appreciate your guidance but the content uploaded on wikipedia is not copyright as I have due permission from the university to upload this content on the wikipedia. So, I request you to not remove the content in whole or part and pls let that be visible on wikipedia. As the content is not copyrighted at all.
Kindly do the needful and pls make the content visible on wikipedia uploaded by me. 203.115.107.76 (talk) 03:16, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
First, giving you permission is not enough. A university official needs to release the material to the public domain, see WP:COPYREQ and WP:DCAE.
Second, you are admitting you are connected to the university. As Renewal6 already let you know, this puts you in conflict of interest and requires you to disclose your connection to the university before you continue to edit.
Third, also something Renewal6 has pointed out repeatedly, naturally, the material on an the organisation's website is extremely promotional and could not be accepted. You will need to rewrite the material from a neutral point of view.
I hope you find this information helpful. I am sorry to say I am unable to follow up on conversations these days due to my health. If my personal involvement is required, you can try yo get my attention by using {{ping}}. Muhandes (talk) 06:47, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
